now look. KMK sucks. they have sucked for quite a few years. When I was working for juggalo news, I had to interview them once, this was in 07. At the time I was a HUGE KMK fan, i have a krown and a spade tatted on my leg. I have thrown a few shows for artists on subnoize and strange music and dealing with anyone BUT the kings was painless and fun. Even tech who while cost more than any show ive been a part of in the underground, was nice and friendly. I didnt even bother trying to throw a kings show because of the stupid demands they want.

when I got to the interview time, they were late, so late it had to be done after the show. big B and potluck managed to make it but not the kings.

dloc and richter were straight up assholes, im pretty sure they were both on pills, at least dloc was i know that for a fact. they had nothing but attitudes the whole time and walked out before i was done with the short interview. Mad disrespectful

the same is not true for taxman, loudogg and pak *RIP* - those 3 were and always will be awesome to me. hanging out with the fans, i got to use lou dogs drum trike (the blue one with the hookah built in it) and they treated us awesome.

musically the kings havent had a good album (entire album) since rollin stoned. There have been a few good songs here and there on the albums since, but rollin stoned is the last album i can listen to start to finish without skipping maybe a track or 2 where pretty much everything since i only dig a track or 2. I can only hear d loc say his own name so many times before it just sounds like white noise.

I dont know zinger personally, but I have had numerous conversations with both X and Z and while I do feel for X because he wasnt a total jackass, I really have to side with zinger on all of this

so in conclusion, fuck the kings, this bullshit is just annoying.

I love their debut album Royal Highness. By far my favorite of theirs. They had a totally different sound back then. But their music is pretty repedative nowadays. Same stuff over and over. And Dloc is streight up garbage anymore. They do put on a hype ass live show tho. I'll give them that.

This is about where I've always stood with The Kottonball Kids. "life ain't what it seems" was my shit sort of. A decade or so back.

this is true shit...my girl worked at a club in san bernardino and kmk played there...she got to go back stage and meet them and she said they were assholes..i heard other stories as well..fuck kmk...
