Video was dope but the track was just ok imo.And why the fuck does Madchild feel the need to rock a grill in every video all of a sudden?
I think he rocks a grill to cover up what he thinks are fucked up teeth. I agree good video meh track. Im getting a bit tired of Madchild recycling phrases and lines between songs…but I still like his songs more then other peoples so im still listening.

Yeah he lost a bunch of them when he hit rock bottom.
I know he had them fixed up since then, but you’re right he is probably still self conscious about the shit

Yeah, thematically his music seems to have gone from-
” I was a goofy junkie who fell off, and now I’m back”
to the current phase of-
“I’m a Canadian who just moved from the small dinky pond of Vancouver, to swim with the sharks in the big city of Los Angeles, and I’m hungry.”

madchild is the perfect example of a rapper who kills it all time…so its kinda become expected and average.Even tho he still raps better than most.

I agree…If he found new ways to say it id be ok with that…Snak the Ripper has similar lyrical content between numerous songs…but he uses different phrasing and lyric choice to make it interesting. If I hear mad call himself some variation of a Vampire or Dwarf one more time….who am I kidding hes still got some good shit that keeps me coming back…but its like listening to the same CD remixed with new sick beats honestly…I still love this song every time I hear it

As I introspect Ive concluded its most likely the Tech N9ne syndrome where he is suffering from releasing tracks with not enough space between them to let them get old…and hes rushing lyrical choice as a result. The track I just posted was from Dope Sick and that album bangs from front to back…He doesn’t start getting repetitive until all the releases that came out subsequently.

I love me some Madchild but I agree with @celle2057 sometimes his punchlines feels like he is filling in some adlib lines haha but with my love of Swollen Members its hard for me to not love anything Madchild touches. When him and Prevail are together that shit gives me chills
I couldn’t of said it better. Especially with those two together. They are just one of those rap duos who really flow well together and blend it amazingly. Hell even add some Moka for a hook
As far at the song though…it’s pretty good. I agree with much of the pros/cons of Mads solo stuff but he does keep putting a lot of stuff out for his fans. Even if it does become a little predictable he still finds lines and hooks that shine. Props to him for not giving up. I am glad though he isn’t singing as much about formally being fucked up on percs/oxys and all that. I get it though, it was what he was going through and I’m sure a huge outlet to rap about it.
