I just bought this on the strength of all your good opinions and because I love Swollen Members from back in the day.
Gotta say this exceeded my wildest expectations and I'm totally blown away; this is a lyrical masterpiece and the beats are pretty much all amazing as well.
Picked up Slaine's album at the same time.....damn Suburban Noize is putting out fire!!! Great label at the moment

I'm from Vancouver...hes around all the time lol
It's a big ass city so you'd think he'd be tough to find. I've heard before from people that live there, that it wouldn't be out of the ordinary just to find him chilling in an alley rollin one up, tho. It's definitely his city, fa sho.
Yeah he'll also show up to random shows or open on a show unanounced and just end up chillin around the rest of the night. Hes a cool dude
Cool as fuck but I wonder where his head is at times. Last time I met him in Hali he forgot the time of his show do to other things.
AND now he skipped on the Hali show and that's the major center east of Toronto in Canada. Said something about snow storm but there wasn't any snow on the ground when I was driving from Halifax to Moncton yesterday. He's in Fredericton tonight I guess but I said fuck it on that show if he wasn't making the Hali one and it fucked a few of my plans up.
Charlottetown is the only date left besides St. Johns which they originally advertised as Saint Johns which is in New Brunswick unlike St. John's. Apparently he thinks he's in Fredericton Ontario tonight too.
He must be flying private jet with these cancellations now and has confused a few city names. I thought he quit dope? Better be in Charlottetown tomorrow you crazy fucker cause I'm here now.

He more than made up for it. Not even 10 seconds after he walked out on stage and some punk threw a just opened full can of beer right into his face and he got pissed at first but when he saw the crowd would take care of it he started the music. What kind of idiot would pay for a ticket just to do that and then get beat down. That was the most violent rap show I've ever seen without gunfire. The whole set there must have been at least ten fights. Bottles and chairs were being thrown at people. I'm sure there's video somewhere but I'll probably be up on fucking assault charges myself if it leaks. Great show other than the fighting and bullshit.

I thought he wasn't even going to do the show and I wouldn't have blamed him if he didn't. When the fights started breaking out he seemed to get into it and enjoy himself a lot more . If the can of beer didn't hit him he probably would have stopped the show from all the fighting but he never missed a lyric.
That was a rowdy ass crowd.

What was it over?. I'd love a big ol' brawl like that until a 240 pound bodybuilder steps in. That's when I dip out llal. In real life the bigger man usually wins out

Stupid small beefs that escalated into a giant brawl. Nothing to do with Madchild.....he just provided the soundtrack

Sounds like a hype ass show to me. I've never seen an all out brawl at a hip hop show before. Maybe little scuffles over people throwin' bows in a mosh pit....

Something outside of the rap show happened here for whatever reason but it had nothing to do with the show. Madchild is Royalty and can go anywhere he wants in this country without worrying….the crowd is responsible for these fights…, the rest of us enjoyed his whole set.
The last show I saw here was probably the greatest live show I've ever seen, and there were no problems at all. That was Sean Strange and Meth Mouth…
