I agree with the pseudo gangster comment.
After my 1st listen, this song has me puzzled…like what is the purpose of saints verses, they were nothing like what i was expecting. I liked the way he put words together and flowed, but the lyrics trouble me…i kinda think he is telling the truth, that he has alot of money, for some reason.
The mixing and production of the song came out waaaay better than what i thought dlocs “studio” would produce. This actually got me kinda excited to hear the album…didnt care for this song much, its weird for a kmk song. Im thinking the album is gonna have a theme instead of the usual mixture of various types of music.
They need to stick to the formula “cloud 9” used.

I remember when KMK made fun music about smoking and hanging out, what’s with this angry psuedo gangster bullshit?
I have to agree with all of this. I thought 2015’s Krown Power sounded like KMK getting back on track and was hoping some of it would carry over to the new album, but then I remember that this “KMK” is not really KMK. Even then, I was imagining maybe some music with more introspection considering they have been away from music since at least 2015, and were making an album together for the first time in 20 years, hoping for the general good vibes music second.
While somewhat disappointed with the single, there is still potential with the full album. This was only one song and in the interview DLoc said half the album is with Saint and a mystery person is joining the rest. We could get anyone though it seems most likely it will be X or Dirtball and we know the old KMK producers are working on it. Most of Dloc’s music on the Kingmaker page is all very similar, which supports the point that X brought a lot to the group in terms of genres and production, it seems like he is the key to the KMK sound.

Seriously what’s up with Saint? He appears as though he has actually and quite literally smoked himself retarded over the years. Just based on this song along, he brought absolutely nothing to the table that he had back in the Royal Highness days. Not that I’d expect anybody to be exactly the same as they were 20 years ago, but damn. D-Loc was still on par at least.

Yea saint was trash on this track and I’m not one to hate. Would have sounded better with literally anybody. ‘Cept King Krimson. #notaKing

It’s an interesting song. First time I heard Saint’s verse I thought he forgot how to rap, like some people here. Second time I heard his verse, I was surprised to find myself liking it.
But Saint definitely seems off in this video. Kind of creepy even… The whole song is pretty dark, psychotic even. Which I actually find intriguing. If the whole album had this vibe, I wouldn’t hate it.
It’s odd to consider this a KMK song, though. But the whole thing has been odd anyways, from the vague promos to this whole concept of having KMK be a duo for one album and then add another member for the next one. But it got people interested again.. I think.

Why are X or Dirtball most likely? I would have thought (and hoped for) Richter, since D-Loc is doing music with him again for Kingspade anyways.

It seems that it would be strange to have Richter back for an entire album as Kingspade, make a second album half with Saint, and then unveil the surprise of Richter again for another 7 songs and it wouldn’t be much of a surprise. It is definitely possible that it could be him again and the feeling is it will be one of those three people. It also seems very unlikely that it would be a completely unrelated guest and call it a KMK record.

it’s definitely a different vibe… I like it better than the new kingspade…
but this whole new KMK record with only Saint sounds weird, why not just get Richter and X on it if everyone is cool with each other, I’d be willing to wait, no need to rush, get everyone together and make it happen, I think X and D-Loc must not be wanting to work together Or somethin’, creative differences?
I Didn’t ever like Dirtball in the group, he’s dope, i got used to it, but still would prefer Dirtball solo, he just doesn’t fit in with the southern cali skater punk rock hip hop blend KMK had…
to me what needs to happen for a KMK record is Daddy X, Richter, Saint and D-Loc rappin’, Bobby B Scratchin’ and A blend of psychedelic g-funk mixed with hardcore hip hop and punk rock, that to me is a Kottonmouth Kings record. oh and it’s always dope to hear DOG BOY spittin some reggae
anyway my speculation is the secret guest on the second “new kmk” record will be Sen Dog from Cypress Hill, and a few songs with X and Richter, maybe even Dog Boy
