it’s weird, my young homie at the workplace plays lots of KMK for me, and it’s just not something that I feel like putting the time into checking out again. I would much rather stay in my comfort zone of late 80’s – early 2000’s stuff that I chose to focus on…

To me KMK’s shit seems like one big long ass CD. I couldn’t tell ya whats songs are on what CD, I bump them in the car from time to time. I was huge into KMK from like ’01-’05ish. They fell off hard for me anyways. I was shocked that I seen that SRH holiday merch sale, like “they still make that shit……….” lol …..meh….

lol too true.
Years ago I heard a ninja describe KMK’s fanbase as “a group of dudes who are looking to nutride for as long as possible”.
Side note- I have a bunch of their cd’s, I’d put their double disc “Greatest Hits” release at #1, but that’s cheating.
The cd I play the most is disc 1 of Hidden Stash 420, it’s got that dope remix of Tangerine Sky on there.

Rollin stoned is actually my favorite album of theirs, then I’m not sure of the order but I also really like high society, hidden stash 2, cloud nine, koast 2 koast, fire it up and royal highness.
Like many of you have said, they did fall off big time in recent years though, they’re basically a joke now unfortunately. Loc and X are awful, Dirtball’s fast but isn’t that good and everyone else left the band. They should just retire at this point honestly.

Greatest Highs While the Subnoize demise was messy, their was a convenience factor in them providing a catch up second greatest hits collection on United Family Music to hear what I missed on the last 6-7 releases like most of y’all I lost track so I got that along with the latest and while its not the old days its not all bad I just don’t care for the mellow acoustic guitar type jams.

For me its not possible to rank the albums in any numerical order, so i’ll just make a like and disliked album list.
LIKED ALBUMS- Royal Highness, High Society, Hidden Stash 2, Rollin’ Stoned, Fire It Up, No.7, Cloud 9, and Sunrise Sessions.
All the above albums have atleast 7 plus songs i like or liked at one time. since the other albums have minimal songs preferred i’ll go ahead and list the songs that were good off the disliked albums.
DISLIKED ALBUMS- Hidden Stash- old so high, everyday, love songs, 3 horny devils
Koast to Koast- where da weed at, friends, everybody move, bong toke, smile, one too many timez
Hidden stash 3 and 5 was just garbage.
The Green Album- pack ur bowl, where im going, freeworld, rainfall, plant a seed
Hidden Stash 420- can anybody hear me, tangerine sky remix, lookin out my window, let the music play, miss smokey
Long Live The Kings- fuck the police, reefer madness, kill the pain, lets do drugs, simple and free
Mile High- mr cali man
Krown Power, i only heard a few tracks but still gets a garbage rating cuz dirtball sucks and johnny richter is missing.
The bonus disc with some of the albums had great songs too, from what i can remember. I feel like KMK was and is a big part of who i am/turned out to be. i got into them while high society was still out. they opened my eyes to alot of government and society’s bullshit and lies, especially since internet wasnt readily available to me up until the green album. i personally loved the fact that they started doing alot more acoustic songs wit each album. i felt that my taste in music, evolved alongside their artistic expressions, in which makes me feel like i grew up with them, musically, at least.
ya they did get redundant, but i still looked forward to each album, just so i can atleast add a couple new songs to my camp fire or smoking playlist. imo richter always had the best verses, especially when it came to the acoustic, mellow songs. dloc had the flow for rap and did good in the beginning, but by rollin stoned, u can tell he was starting to run out of things to say. and for daddy x, i felt that he did really well in the mellow songs too, but the question is was he being honest or just came up with good verses for the character he created. i say that cuz…well u know…. johnny bravo. i feel like daddy x is just an actor, and that makes me sad cuz he said some things in those mellow songs that really shaped my character.
damn… sorry yall, reminiscing like a mother fucker…. so ill stop now.
hopefully me listing songs off albums i disliked will introduce someone to a song they never heard, and maybe have a good impact on their life.
