You are probably THE MOST active and participatory member this Forum has had enter it in a several years! DO NOT let the typed-out soap opera that you see around you dissuade from ANYTHING you are either TRYING to do or WANT to see happen. REVEL in your “ignorance” that you are not shackled with the knowledge of what it took to get to this point.

I’m only gonna come out of the fog here to let ya’ll know that I kinda resent the notion that any kinda deliberations regarding “OUR” “VILLAGE” felt the need to go “offline” with it;  ‘Offline’ ostensibly meaning, ‘Not discussed within the Forum’.

That resentment probably stems from the fact that the “reasoning” behind such a thing…is exactly what I’ve been “preaching” to you all since March of 2016 and then again almost one year later, after I got sick… I was not expecting my point to be proven by someone else getting laid out and the DCG Con getting shut down over INTERNET SHIT.

Admittedly, I’m “behind on my karma”.

I missed being a part of anything to do with last year’s Gathering [dog cancer]. I missed being a part of The March [hurricane]. I missed being able to go to DCG [was in Colorado].

But all the while… here I am, thinkin’ that even though there’s all kinds of SHIT being smeared on the walls of OUR Forum… that that group of people that made ’17’ happen, were all  still cool with each other. *I* never saw it. I’m one of the “weirdos” around here that actually READS all you mafka’s shit! No idea. Nobody told me nut-tin. For myself, I can’t recall ANYONE that came through OUR Village that has popped off at each other HERE. There’s no one -I- had, have or ever will Gather with me that I would find a place of hate for. None. (and showing up for “the picture”… is not “gathering”)

I get accused of trying to be “too involved”… So, I withdraw to allow others… and then I get accused of being “non-participatory”. Why? Hmm, I guess you’re not one of those “readers” amongst us then either…

When it comes to the IDEA of “The Village” (and I know how much you hate it when I do this) but [insert clip of another Pinhead]:

“It is not hands that summon us…” (and if you call yourself a “horror fan” and don’t get that reference… that can’t be helped)

And even now, I -still- have no fuckin’ idea what some of these people… MY people… are even talking about. I only know the few things I do, because someone felt the need to tell me out of friendship and respect (without drawing ME into that whirlpool) just what the fuck was going on around me that I was seemly oblivious too. I don’t need that shit this year.

Quite frankly, learning just the little bit I have, to anyone that was ‘weirded’ out by my posts… That just makes my meaning 10x more than what they were originally meant to convey… only because I knew that when I saw those posts again later… somebody would have written, “Fuck You” right under my nose.

“We” all know the problem… but “We” don’t wanna talk about it HERE… Why? Because there are some of us that are tired of talking about “THEIR ISSUES” but can’t find a place to talk about “The Issue of THEM”…

I got nuthin’ for nobody. I’m not here SELLING anything. I have nothing left to offer of  myself other than friendship… and even THAT is not free.

All you gotta do is ask.

And if even THAT is too much for you… that can’t be helped.

You wanna know why I’m not buying a T-Shirt this year…? It isn’t because I don’t like the design. It isn’t because it’s being printed on a white T and that I’m a “chubby funsta” and regard “wearing white” as falling into the same “fashion faux pa” category as a fat person wearing horizontal stripes…

It’s because I’ll be bring an actual  flag I MADE with me when I come to Gather in search of OUR Village…

…I shouldn’t have to feel the need to fly one on my t-shirt.
