Hey guys, just wondering if anybody from the area is planning on going to The Gathering this year and would be interested in a carpool?
My girlfriend and I haven’t been before, we recently moved to the Binghamton area from a much larger city where we didn’t need a car and therefore don’t have one now. I know there are a few people from the area on the forums, so I figured it would be worth a shot to ask. We’re both chill, working people, she’s a server and I work at a greenhouse/nursery. We can pitch in for gas, grub, we smoke and will bring enough to share if you do too, etc. We’ll have our own supplies and tent, so we wouldn’t need to camp near you if you’ve got something going on.
If we can’t manage to find a ride I think we’re going to opt for taking the Greyhound bus from Binghamton. From what I’m seeing the best bet is to travel into Columbus (correct me if I’m wrong and you know of a better option). Looks like last year there was a “Rallybus” that dropped off in Thornville, so maybe we’ll do that? Not sure how many people take the bus in instead of driving but I definitely don’t want to miss it this year so any help in any way would be most appreciated!
We’re both going to be at the Twiztid show in Binghamton on 4/22 and the Riddlebox show in Syracuse on 5/5 so even if you’re not going to The Gathering and will be at one of these shows and want to meet up and grab a drink/blaze let’s do it!

I think u should rename the thread. Every year a thread is made for people who need a ride or have an open seat. Call the thread “The official gathering 17/2016 ride request”.

Idk im a newb to the forums, but i assumed u could. Maybe a mod can change it. I figured id atleast help u out and have a thread under ur belt that would have alotta posts, since that is usually a big thread each summer.

I’m from Vermont, not terribly far from Albany, and I don’t have a vehicle. But I would love to go in on a carpool, cuz sharing transportation is about the only way I’ll be able to make it to the gathering. Well, that or I get on my dominatrix game and make a bitch pay to bring me to the gathering…they’d of course have the privilege of serving me and taking care of whatever I need for the entire gathering. Any submissive takers on that? I’ve already put the word out elsewhere, and I suppose I need to get on it again.

I went to that gathering that was here and man it was real hard to get past the gaurds .I pushd some guy down in the woods and made him suck some weiner becuase he aint give me a beer and man icp was not even there

Yo fam, I live in Sturgis MI near the IND border, I’m looking for a ride to the Gathering this year. I’ve got plenty of cash to cover gas and anything needed. I’ve never been able to go and can’t drive because of my eyes. I can offer cash not only for gas but for the ride itself and if you go out of your way. Please ya’ll it’s my dream to go and with my health getting worse every year I may never get the chance to go again. I just want to go and finally meet people who won’t judge or hate me and make some real friends in case it’s my last year on earth.

Yo is anyone from the southwest Michigan area driving to the Gathering? I live in Sturgis MI, it’s been my dream for years to go and finally meet some good people who won’t judge or hate me cause the way I look and the music I listen to. I’ve never gone before because of never getting a ride and I can’t drive because of my eye sight is bad. I’ll be honest and tell you guys that my health gets worse yearly and my doctors don’t know how many years I’ll have because of my seizures and heart. I live each day like it’s my last and live life as much as possible. Please if you can help me out fam, I’ve got plenty of cash for gas,the ride,munchies,whatever is needed. Plus lots of goodies my good doctors send me home with for anyone who wants them. I’m desperate to go live my biggest dream at the Gathering ninjas…
