What's up..real quick..I've been to the gathering since 2001..up till the gathering of the muddalos, it was A totally different atmosphere…I had just turned 16 at the time, 27 now..Me being small as fuck, I stuck out like A sore thumb, being A young ninja at that time tho, I got hooked the fuck up in garretsville, everywhere I turned, ninjas were offering me food, drinks etc..Back then, if A ninja fell, there was 10 there ready to pick him up..Where I live, chronic was non-existent then, so when I turned up in garretsville and right off the bat I got offered Louisiana Silver Haze, I'm like wtf is that..but had soo many people sharing and just making sure everyone had A good time..back then , ALL the artists, wrestlers, etc..would just be walking around, riding around on the golfcarts, just actin A fool..One example, we were all chilling at our site, Loons 110, J and Mono rolled up on golf-cart smoking A B, we were having A wet t-shirt contest at the time and they just chilled for a second and went about to the next site to eat some burgers and shit with whoever was at that site..but not just psychopathic artists, all that were slated to perform..but after 2005, the mud year, artist interactions and shit started to decline..now I'm far from A hounder but just certain level of respect to them for coming out there and bullshit w everyone..The drugs at this time was just the basics…Bud, X, and some Shrooms..I remember the first couple camping gatherings, you had to get your shit the first couple days, because after that, they were all gone..now everyone and their mom has the shit and meth, herion, coke shit is rampant there..it shifted from the way they planned it to be, A “family reunion” of sorts, to now more of A Bonnaroo fest…since 09 really hasn't been the same, but yet again, it's how you make it, your right..I just hated the fucking assholes that were like…”Whoop Whoop Ninja, wanna buy some coke…No…Fuck outta here ya fake ass juggaho…” I was like, “How many gatherings ya been too homie??”, he said, “4 now, what?!”…”12th here, so fuck off..” but it's not even about that..it's about being A mature fucking adult and using common sense….

Kraken, i.agree 100% with ya. I was at all 4 gotj in ohio. Mudbowl being the last. Missed the next 2,maybe 3. Im drunk, even tho, ive been to.3 at hog rock. And the thing i hate bout what it was then, and how it is now. People just come to fucking party, and it almost seems just like a drug fest.
I remember when the stages stoped after the headliner. And it was just campsite parties. When club caos had no more than a dozen the first year. And each year it grew exponentially.
I remember when j would just be walking around, no golf cart.
When juggalos would come together, for just the music. And then meet peoples in common.
When “sup ninja ” and “what up fam” was shit u only herd at the gathering. And the 1st clown show after the gathering, was nothing like the show at the gathering. Or the crowd was nothing like the crowd at the gathering. It was the evolving of the family era.
And you can still find that same essence, the same los and lettes. The artist patrolling like they did, at hog rock. For a small time frame.whwn mist are sleeping. Usually the our before dusk and the hour after dusk. Thats when i see the gathering i know and love

I’ve only been to one gathering, last year, and had a great time. We camped up in the forest area and found only real family there. The grounds are pretty big. Sure there are drug dealers but they didn’t really bother us, you can avoid them if its not your thing. Never saw any prostituting/pimping. Meet and surround yourself with the right people and you will have a blast.
I didn’t like people throwing stuff on stage, esp full beer cans. Saw a few people get pegged. I got lucky lol. Also not really a fan of people throwing stuff off the love bus… Make sure you pay attention when that bitch rolls by!

My only bad experience I had @ the gathering is in 03 in ohio. Thats when they had a bag check tent where u can keep ur bags there and u give them ur ticket and u can have ur bag back. Well the people running the bag check tent gave my bag accidently 2 tje wrong person. I had all my clothes in there 4 the gathering, my cell phone, some cds I already bought and 20 dollars. Not only did that happin I was also upset that the ninja who got the wrong bag didnt give it back. Now thats fuckin shitty

Do I think that there was way to many pushers their, Absolutely. But I saw NUMBEROUS people on the bridge monitoring things, SERVERAL People thrown off the bridge (No crack,heroin,meth etc) is allowed on the bridge. I also saw a few women get escorted off grounds as well for prostituting.
