yeah I made the same mistake the moment I was on a hayride to my site I bought some dank. Than after lotus and a couple blunts solo I was lost eventually got the layout down though.

Just dont try to go lookin around at night and fucked up and you should be good, This is my 3rd year in a row this year and I did the same shit got my shit set up fell asleep for a bit woke up got some DRUGS lol. And couldnt make it back to my tent so I stayed at Club Lotus.

My first time there, I tripped on acid and I walked the place over 10 times in circles, wondering where the fuck am I going? Dark time, people still coming and pulling in to the Gathering. I had no flashlight or anything and it was a long night.

It is a pretty big place. I can't say I ever got lost even the first year, but I suppose I was good about remembering landmarks as I learned the place. You can definitely get turned around at night when you don't know the place. But it's not like you can't bring your map with you everywhere too.
Now I can't even imagine getting lost i know that place so good

Camp near the wrestling ring. It’s near the stage. The ring. And the food. Then if you get lost head toward the stage and you can figure it out from there. It’s really not that big when it comes down to it. And the roads are just a big circle, so you won’t be lost long unless your blind.

Yeah after two days at my first Gathering I pretty much figured this place out. One big loop and avoid that one hill, fuck that hill.

My 2nd year, I camped right at the top of that hill so walking up that hill when its dark out and a golf cart is coming at ya, look out. Last year I camped by the seminar tent, which also led me to the better showers. So you can avoid that fucking hill, or the other hill which isn't so bad.

I didn't even know there was more than one shower truck. I thought the only one was the one by the seminar tent on 2nd & Grant. Is that the “good” shower? Where is the nasty shower then? Lol i'm just curious not like i'll be using those showers

The good showers up all the way by the orange pig hogrock statue thing. In Red Mist Mountain.The terrible showers are the ones in the trailer.

Yeah … At the top of Heart Attack Hill .. Best times to go are between 3 am and 11 am … Usually have hot water, but bring shower shoes. It’s an actual building too .. Not trailers
