I can’t believe nobody said this yet…flashlight! Very usefull when exploring the night life. Which is the best time btw. Whatever you do, don’t just watch the concerts then go back and pass out! Ull miss all the best shit I swear. I can promise you the shit that will stick with you the most wont be any event PSY will host, but the random antics of ninjas all over the campgrounds! Fill you gas tank up and skip buying a tent. Sleep a few hours every morning while running your AC in the whip. Oh, and boots/jeans if you plan on sneaking in. It’s mad easy, but there is prickerbushes and whatnot. 

I didn’t get “gathering plague” but then again I never go to the doctor when I get sick and my immunity is probably built up.

It’s not necessary but I brought one of those canopy tents with us. Very useful when you want to get out of the shade.

Also I wouldn’t recommend sleeping in your car. It fucking sucks and if you do don’t expect to get a full REM cycle.

We slept in the car the first night, and after that I bought a tent off of this one family from new york who were tryna get home.

Also I’d get a little charcoal grill from the dollar store to take with you. You can get the tiny ones relatively cheap. It will come in handy.

Again it’s not necessary but if you are like me youll get tired of eating cold/snack food and you don’t want to buy food there. It cost I think 26 dollars for a pizza last year and it tasted like straight ass(though I will say they had a pulled pork sammich that tastes heavenly when you are folded)

And like you were saying about the newports, cigs make for good bartering. If you do happen to have killers people will pay top price for em. Everything including the drugs are inflated there.

Ryda, rollies went over well for you? I’m in NJ where cigs are fuckin insane expensive (higher than gathering prices in some places) so I usually stock up out of state once I’m on the road, but here at home I roll my own all the time. Thanks for the idea.

Well is honestly an understatement. I sold 2 cartons the first day, and I just sat at my campsite. I didn’t need to go out screaming my lungs off that I had them. By the middle of the second day I was out and $200 richer lol. I’ll probably roll 10 cartons this year. Kill everyone else’s prices at $5 a pack and go home with more money than I came with. If you see a fat kid with spider braids selling $5 menthols you have found me. Finding a fat kid with spider braids at the gathering is like finding hay in a haystak. Mine are always multi colored, and color coordinated. I stay fresh.

Uh, what? There’s no such thing as a national concealed carry permit. Every state has different laws so there’d be no way to enforce anything nationally.  There are no car searches like most other festivals. As that is left up to the festival promoter, and they don’t ask the police to do them. Hypothetically if I brought mine every year it would be kept in my car at all times unless of course I go out into the wooded non lit areas at night. Because that’s where people get jumped, robbed, and raped. It stays in my hip holster and doesn’t move unless I feel my life is threatened. If I brought mine… If you discharge your weapon. Put it away and RUN. If you feel the need to ditch the piece please remember to remove the mag, and bullets from mag. Toss them all separately. If at all possible pop the slide off too and throw that elsewhere. You don’t need someone getting ahold of your gun. 

There is no such license that “carries over to other states”. Each state has their own laws. Within these laws some states allow the use of OTHER states permits known as concealed carry reciprocity. But at this time there is no national carry permit. Nor any permit that you can get to let you carry a firearm everywhere. Even your dad has to apply for state by state licenses if he plans to travel to states that do not allow him to use his home state permit. 

You can look up your state, or any state your planning to travel to by googling ” (State name) Reciprocity List”. That should take you directly to their .gov site.

Yeah, i’m just quoting US law. There is no specific permit though. A permit is just a permit. Reciprocity carry is a state by state law, not a physical permit.

I’m not trying to shit on you, i’m just trying to inform you. Whether you were misinformed, or misunderstood doesn’t really matter to me. I’m just trying to lay out some facts for you to keep you safe. It’s a crime to get caught in any state with a firearm that doesn’t accept your permit. You seemed to have thought you could take your gun anywhere. I feel I have now done my job by saving you a trip to federal prison.
