Although it’s only speculation at this point (“confirmation” or not, anything can happen in a year), if they bring the GOTJ to Colorado, I have no excuse for not going. None. If I wanted to see my family for the night, it’s a quick drive back home (assuming it really is around the Denver area).
They could even bring it farther east my way. That would be mind blowing. Almost too much already lol.
What do you all think? I feel like it is definitely time to move it more this way. Being an ex-east coaster, we had it good for a while. 6-7 hour drives for Ohio Gatherings. Time to check out this western Juggalo vibe.

Fuck I’m so down I hear there’s a big hippie community out there so it should be chill as fuck. What I’m not looking forward to is all the logistics involved getting me and my friends there will suck plus the extra days we will have to have off but fuck it all the west coaster have to so it’s our turn. I’m going to start a thread soon about some of my plans

Yea, I’m really torn between whether to be extremely excited or just really worried. I’m really not sure how I’m going to make it across the country and get those extra travel days off of work- but hey, many of you have done it so apparently it is possible :) So mainly I’m just excited. I think I’ll have to fly in because getting those extra days off of work is the main challenge*, so I’m already strategizing how to best pack for next year. Also thinking about back up plans if my luggage were to get lost. Maybe I’ll wait and buy a tent and everything when I get there. (Why is it saying that I misspelled strategizing? Isn’t that how it is spelled?)
*but at the same time, I’ve always wanted to go to Colorado, so I’m also considering asking for extra days off of work just to get there early and see Colorado…don’t want to waste the opportunity for that as well. So much to plan, so little time. lol

Can someone PLEASE post some footage from either the Gathering Seminar or the ICP Seminar where they ACTUALLY say it is ACTUALLY going to be held in Denver?
Not that I’m saying everyone is wrong, I wasn’t able to make the Gathering Seminar but I did attend the ICP Seminar and I could swear I never heard them say Denver specifically, just Colorado…
I’d just like to hear it wif muh own ears.

I don’t have footage so I’m no real help but he did say they were trying to have it in Denver at the gathering seminar. BUT he kept saying that they don’t have a venue, that they’ve been trying to have it there for years with no luck, etc.
So I wouldn’t plan anything too specific at this point lol
edit: I can just hear @cheshyr yelling at me like he was those ppl in the way of his car THATS NOT WHAT I ASKED I WASNT TALKING TO YOU BITCH haha that was hilarious btw

Jump says he wants it in denver. He never says it will be in denver. I don’t remember them saying denver at the ICP seminar, only the state of colorado.

All right, so they WANT/would like it to be in Denver but that’s a bit different than people going around and SAYING it’s in Denver.
I’m happy with Colorado. Just remember kids, you need to have a state issued ID (ie Colorado) in order to walk into weed shops and buy shit. But it ain’t like you just wouldn’t be able to get a CO ninja to help.
Personally, if it ends up being somewhere in Colorado Springs, I will just HAVE TO be there! HAVE. To. I was BORN in Colorado Springs and moved when I was 2yrs old and have never set foot there again in all my life. I don’t think I’ve even flown over it the few times I’ve gone to Washington or Oregon! If The Gathering were held there it would be… like… fuckin’ fate n’ all that. (it would be some “Joke Ya Mind” type shit for me for sure)…
@jc Gah! It wasn’t that asshole-ish, haha! We were taking the road out and the people a few cars ahead kept stopping and going every few car lengths and right when we got to the top of the hill at the security fence, I stuck my head out the window and (ineffectually) yelled, “C’mon! What the fuck is with this shit!”. And right at that moment some poor girl dragging her Radio Flyer that was overloaded with stuff, had her wagon fall over and was piling it back on. She thought I was yelling at HER and said something like, “Well, not all of us can afford blah blah blah” (couldn’t make it out); an’ I said, “Not you [pause] bitch”… That’d be like me yelling at that guy over there breaking his tent down and telling him, “Hurry the fuck up , I wanna go home!”

a piece of wholly unsolicited advice… those of you are are ultra-geeked about colorado, be prepared for it to not happen.
im just sayin, dont count on it, till its confirmed… and maybe not even then. when the gathering got yanked away from my backyard [well after plans with the road dogs had begun], i honestly didnt see it comin, and that was a ridiculous downer.
also, i very strongly doubt that it will be in the city of denver. or the denver metro area. or even the county of whateverthefuck county that denver is in.
itll be in denver, the way the last one was in columbus.
if that. colorado is kinda big.
my vote: gathering at omds house.

Denver: absolutely not. 100% not. Nor would we want it there.
Denver outskirts (immediate): 75% not. Not much happening there, anyway.
Pueblo/Colorado Springs areas: 50% not. Too booogy-roogy
Mountain areas such as Salida/Durango/Pike’s Peak: 49% not. Too pristine. Honestly, unless I owned land there, I wouldn’t want a GOTJ there, either.
Eastern plains such as Log Lane Village/Fort Morgan: it’ll be hot, non-scenic, and nothing special. But dammit, ya’ll can crash at my crib. I got a kiddie pool, a garage, a basement, and more!
Lots of land there. seriously
