I, for one, will miss this gathering. Stupid idea. They are saying how important the march is since it will show the country, blah blah blah… No one cares about marches on Washington anymore. There are several of them every single day of the year. No one pays attention to them anymore. It used to be a big deal but now days the effect has become so diluted due to its overuse.
Horrible idea to make it part of the gathering. I feel like doing everything in my power to stop this march/gathering idea. There are plenty of articles that talk about how marches on Washington do not accomplish anything anymore. In almost all cases, no one who can make a change and needs to notice even knows that a march has occurred and when they do notice a march it is only because of a mention in the traffic report for Washington DC and they feel slightly annoyed that they have to alter their course to get to work.
All they have to do is talk to some news reporters in Washington DC and look at the many archived info out there of past marches in the last decade or two to see the almost non-existent effect any of them have had. Pointless and a complete waste of time.

So, I understand how they could have came up with this combined march/gathering idea and how it might sound cool at first.
But I just don’t see how it will work out. I mean basically we’re giving up the gathering for the march. Or, if they really want to combine it and somehow keep the gathering (as we know it today) in it, they’re just decreasing the effectiveness of the march. There’s just so many reasons why they should keep it separate.
I mean I’ll be there regardless, but damn.

Instead of bitching about how crushed I am to not be able to attend my first GOTJ since 2004 due to proximity in my new state of Colorado, and also having my awesome dispensary represent there…. I just thought of an alternative…

this is stupid…another year of me getting hyped that I’ll be able to go again only to be disappointed
could care less about this march tbh call me an asshole if you want but I personally feel like Psychopathics been tryna milk this shit with the FBI for publicity more than anything and it’s now getting in the way of dope shit like the Gathering…just another case of J announcing shit too early, getting everyone excited, only to backtrack…not to mention they plan this around the end of next year?…a lot of things could happen between now and then that would make this march basically irrelevant in the grand scheme of things

this ain’t guaranteeing shit though lol what you mean to say is it’s them putting more pressure on people to go to this event by taking away the event more people would probably prefer to go to…try having as much fun as you do at a Gathering with all the cops that will be patrolling that shit lol I’m not tryna be discouraging I mean if you can make it go for it but speaking for myself personally…Colorado was an option…this is not

I think they should cancel the free concert have the march and then celebrate via gathering in a not so distant location.
That way if u dont want to march dont. But u can still gather.
I just dont want to sound like a spoiled little ho. Its not like im paying for any of this. Like i aint putting all this shit together. I guess when it comes down to it. We still have a place to gather. To me at least.
