Good to know. And yes hyperthermia is a concern. But its for the ignint. Dehydration as well. Too much or too little water should never be a problem.I was close to becoming the first legal MDMA-utilizing psychotherapist but there are too many legal speed bumps.

Yes, scruffy, I was referring to the frozen form of h2O. Damn, that seems steep, but it IS festival priced. Damn, it’s been so freakin’ long since I’ve been to a festival of any sort that I’m going to have to consciously account for the quasi-price-gouging that I’d gotten used to back in the day.

Ya we’ll see if there’s a “drug bridge” type spot or if that shit will even be put up with. I’ve only been tow one gathering, at Cave-In-Rock, and you could literally do whatever the fuck you wanted there. Was there ever a venue where GOTJ was held that either searched you going in or would bust you once you were inside for illegal shit?

Not in the last 10 years that I can remember. Searches going into any festival are made by the promoters and or venue owners. The local PD can be asked to do them but that usually incurs a fee and all kinds of problems for guests. A festival like GOTJ is always held on private property so there can’t be any cops past the line, unless invited or they see illegal activity. And naturally PSY doesn’t ask their staff to do searches, or seizures, and they don’t ask the PD for help. There are always some security that will confiscate stuff just because they can though since the rules clearly state we can’t have basically anything we bring.  On a side note they can and have run dogs down cars if you’re outside the property line. I always keep my shit packed at the very bottom of my pile. There’s no need to drink or drug it up any time before you get in the gathering.
