They aren’t having it this year :( so I’m making a guerrilla exhibit lol.
It’s cool you didn’t know, lots of people showed up. More homies from the board showed up to wish me luck and check out my work than biological family showed up when my work was in a museum.

I think most people will be OK with missing most of the stuff at those times, with exception of the icp seminar.
Yup yup. Other than that Seminar that seems to be the consensus. For what’s it worth, anywhere from 2-6 works for me just well.

So, any ideas as to where Day 1 should be? Also, at what time? 2PM does seem to be rushing it a little bit considering a lot of people will still be trying to get set up and gather their marbles.

@bayareashaman I’m down for day 2 for the BBQ. Probably a few hours before the regular meetup so it can just kinda be like a “come early for bbq” thing.

Traditionally the Meet-Ups have been located at Scottie’s Faygoluver’s RV. Presumably, if this FL Village comes to pass, we will have the capability of broadcasting where that might be MUCH sooner and more easily than in the past.
Scottie and his crew are usually quite busy but it’s the best chance to get the “Official” FL Meet-Up Massacre group photo with Scottie up in it.
At the same time, it’d be just as easy to direct everyone to the village and leave Scottie alone altogether, haha.

Even if the bleachers (or JCW stage in general) aren’t ideal, one has to assume that most can easily find it and that it’s going to be baron on day 1. As soon as you get there and see a herd of ninjas grouped up you’ll immediately know you’re at the right spot. Main Stage is obviously identifiable for Day 1 but even when nothing was happening there last year there were pockets of people spread erratically. That might make it hard to find your group of people. Even if we’re all wearing meetup shirts.

my understanding is that the bbq, where we will massacre meat up as part of a meetup massacre, is tentatively happenin thursday afternoon.
in the village, meat will still be massacred up pretty much every afternoon, im guessin, based on the number of chefs on deck. but the official meetup bbq thing was only the one day. i believe.

well, thursday will have to be at the faygoluvers village, unless everybody feels like hauling a bunch of grills and coolers around all day.
if we are gonna do the wig gag for the icp seminar, saturdays meetup should [perhaps] take place there. all early-like, so we dont have to stand in the sun for the seminar.
wednesday, the village may still be bein built, and/or people might not know where it is yet, so it has been proposed that a meetup on wednesday happen at some super-easily-identifiable landmark. [i would say the giant strawberry… but if it aint there, it would fuck us up]
massacre times…
as i think i said before in this thread, 2-4 is good stuff, scheduling-wise, for me.
except, again, for the asterisk of saturdays seminar. which is a schedule conflict that more or less resolves itself.

Chad (FLH interviewer) is on the left of Scottie, Polmar aka Jeremy (FLH webmaster) is on the right of Scottie. Jules aka @verytwiztidraven is next to Polmar.
I believe @psyral-infection is kneeling down (the one with braids). the other one kneeling down has to be a webmaster also, because of the jersey
