My backpack tent has a couple pockets in it that always has a towel (always know where your towel is), titanium spork, tongs, and various spices. Reason being, I kept forgetting the shit and had to neanderthal the shit and cook with a stick.   

My ladyfriend and I are definitely fucking going but not having our tickets till closer to date makes me want to put a big ass asterisk beside everything I offer my help on. So know that I AM going to be there but I don’t have my tickets yet and won’t till July so there is a chance that something goes terribly awry for me. Nothing foreseeable mind you but still. That’s the pessimist in me talking but I keep getting an itch to remind ya’ll about it so that if it comes down to it you have backups for extra people to grill, be a mule, etc. etc. Not that I’m a special snowflake or anything but I don’t want everyone to be one man short on anything because of me. 

Also, I’m pretty sure I’m going to team up with some adderall and make a FLH Forum shirt with my name on it so I’m more easily identified.   

Well hope to see u there, and the identity shirt would be kewl, id kno who i can score an addy from for the dash at the gate.

i do this: 

all year long, about once a month, i say, ‘remember, i need a week off for the gathering.  you can schedule me if you want to, but i wont be here.’   

Lol I do the same. 

All my coworkers go to EDC so when I tell them I don’t fuck with raves I just go to one thing they get all happy.  Like 5 to 10 people fucken ask for up to a week a time. I ask for two weeks off cuz I’m driving out there an I want to rest, reflect and drink beer in my backyard when I get home. Worked perfect last year. 

Plus i say “I’m driving cross country with my girlfriend to this god music thing.” They just look at me like I’m part of a cult. Wouldn’t be the first time I would be part of a cult…that’s kinda not a lie either.

I do this too, but also level and say a campout concert festival is tagged on as well so it doesnt appear shady when I come home with dope stories to tell.  All the years it was at Hog Rock I passed through my familial stomping grounds in Indiana to get there so it actually was true.  We would stop off otw home for a pit stop which is actually the only reason I miss that spot lol.

True, true! Good idea. I may have to adjust what I planned on wearing, though, to make this a more viable option. My plan of just wearing a g-string and body oil doesn’t lend itself to having many places to hide anything.
