Whoop x2!! I had the BEST time at this year’s gathering! (my 3^rd) A big THANK YOU to everyone at the Faygoluvers village!! I truly appreciate everyone’s love and generosity! It was so great seeing everyone again and getting to meet new people, putting a face to a screen name! I loved having a chill spot, our living room was perfect! A special THANKS to the runners who held that spot down, hoping we can get the same place next year! The weather was great, even the bit of rain we got helped cool it down. I went into this gathering with no expectations, and it turned out to be amazing! Above and beyond anything I could of ever wished for… it was fun tye-dying with all of you, eating the best homemade lunch… and having a coffee maker! That Faygoluvers sign was absolutely beautiful! It’s really hard for me to sit still. I was wandering around a lot… I went on many magical random adventures! I am truly grateful… It was upsetting to have to leave and I miss you all so much! Whoopstock muddafackos!

speakin of [in another thread] the psykoscottmobile… anyone happen to have a good picture of it?
i think i got a simple village system worked up that would make for better coverage in case of rain. remind me about that in around eleven months or so.
tables come in real handy. i spose thats obvious, but i dont bring much in the way of home funishings to gatherings. the inevitable camp chair, sure, but not much else.
always remember: time only goes one way, so dont give any fucks while youre fucking. and quit your job.

Ya know, i think they left him there. I rode back up the hill with them in the rv and i didnt see him anywhere.

I was thinking of a 4 or 6 “square” canopy pattern instead of the “line” shape we had this year. Were also looking into getting a hitch on our suv, the sign scratched the hell out of the dash, shes not happy about it. Well be able to load more shit with ease. Also thinking if the uhaul plan sticks we can angle a large tarp from the top of that for more coverage. JC’s fan moved some air, looking into getting a couple fans also. As well as when halloween and christmas hits well get a load more lights. All just ideas right now but well see how it goes.

normal bullets:

there was a lot of general foot traffic goin through the village this year, as a result of the new location. almost all of it was benign, though, either people who we had established as neighbors, or just randos who were too trashed to be gettin off the path just yet.
one kid [who looked awfully damned familiar to me] was so wasted that he appeared to have genuine difficulty in understanding that he had been told to find a different camp to trespass on. kept insisting that he needed to get his shit outta splits car. i had to escort him by the arm back to the road, twice. despite his having awakened me from a restful slumber, i was actually fairly polite to him. he was, as i say, hella wasted, but not belligerent; and besides, he was kinda on the small side, so, no point in freakin him out.
tristan can say he is a real guitar player, now that he has learned how to grimace. that shit was riotous.
as usual, i met about two dozens new homies this year… and i remember about a half-dozen of their names…
dude with the blunts: when smokin a blunt, it is helpful if air can actually be drawn through it. you must have very nimble fingers to be able to roll em that tight without splitting.
the cartridge i got from ya is aces, though.
them cover bands, what i saw of em, were an interesting combination of amazing and suck.

Ill have to do some digging as to what made me think Hypno had his own thing going on. Read it here, not spoken at camp, so there has to be a paper trail somewhere.

As for the cover bands, i dont think i heard anything i knew. Then again i missed a lot of their sets. Surprised there was no stories of people throwing stuff at them.
