Haven’t read the whole thread sorry. I’m having trouble figuring out how to get a campsite. I mean I’m going to get a car pass but then do you need the rv/trailer pass too? I know theres limited sites and I want to lock that in.
Campsites are for everyone. A car pass allows you to park your car where you camp. A RV pass allows you to park an RV or large trailer (without it being a Ballers site). Car passes usually don’t sell out, but the RV/Trailer ones do. Also, a lot of section are tents only based on what the people working the venue decide on at the time.
It’s all first come, first serve, but if you got a car pass, and you’re there not too much later than afternoon on Wednesday, you shouldn’t have a problem parking where you camp within the gate. Hell, the whole parking lot at legend valley is “campable” and not terribly far from all that’s happening if for some reason you can’t camp within the main gate or just don’t wanna buy a car pass.

The Mrs and I left our car on the outside. There was a truck stop and a walmart fairly close (within 15-20 minutes) we left every morning and got showered and breakfast. Think it was like $12 for a shared shower. Once the car is in, you cannot take it out. Ive read that some people are sleeping in their cars, if you do not plan on doing this i would leave it outside. If your bringing a load of stuff, bring a wagon with rubber wheels to haul personals in and out, as the rocky terrain sucks with plastic wheels. Just some things im keeping in the back of my mind to make my trip easier. Hope this helps you some.

I did the same on Friday. Every morning though I would hit up the rest stop and Kroger. Legend Valley is mad convenient. Walking your gear in isn’t too bad depending on where you camp and what you have. Would love to go again this year since it’s back at LV. Got a newborn baby girl though so it’s gonna be a hard sell for my wife. 5% chance as of right now. Muzzy is trying to get me to go and convince my wife lol. Hope you all have been doing well. I been lurking just not had much to say. Everything good over here. Eagles won the super bowl!

Word on the street is shaman had a generator and it made waves amongst the community. Im thinking of bringing a propane grill so our family can enjoy warm food. Yay, ney on whether itll be acceptable with the camp grounds… Any input?

I’m 90% sure propane is allowed. Charcoal for sure. Shouldn’t be an issue. Just be careful because there are tons of fools with fireworks at Legend Valley. Might wanna get a small tank or just go the charcoal route

Generator was dope. Propane grill would be cool if it’s allowed. Usually someone has a charcoal grill.

dunno if it made waves, but it definitely made the fans that were attached to it make air currents. and those air currents made us live longer, i do believe.
charging phones was nice, i spose, but i dont much care to be on my phone at the gathering anyway.
village needs practical night lighting. we havent made enough progress there, yet.
so… im assuming that a midway or some other stunt aint happenin this year, yeah…?

if you mean, time to plan and execute big stunts… not really.
would have to be up and moving pretty soon.
little stuff, like figuring out how to see in the village at night, yeah, time.
actually… is there gonna be a village?
the various ideas in the various threads are… varied.
