Did not do well this year… yet….
Actually. We did fine. We got tickets. We got a car pass (wanted ballas) so we will have fun no matter what.
I made it to the checkout 7 times with Ballas in the cart and each time the cart expired and emptied before the checkout process completed each time so the transaction failed. On the 8th time, the Ballas were sold out. I immediately switched gears and started going for a car pass. Finally got one. After that, I went back several hours later once traffic calmed down and bought the regular tickets.
I am keeping an eye on the site as much as I can. In past years (where I failed to get a ballas on day 1) they opened up more sales. Not sure if people canceled or payment methods failed or what but they appeared again several weeks later. I will keep trying and hope to get lucky.
If not, it’s all good. The best location we ever had was in 2013 (I think) where the ballas tickets didn’t arrive in the mail until after we had to leave for Hogrock. We bought a car pass at the gate and stayed in the Dark Forest. It was magical. Especially at night when they turned it into Fruit Loop Forest.

I remember 2014 Gathering, my camp was right outside of the comedy tent and my crew all just chilled around our grill and coolers and listened to Gilbert cause you could obviously hear his set. Some of the funniest and most vile shit I’ve ever heard. It was an absolute blast and one of my favorite gathering memories ever. RIP Juggalo Family.

Gilbert Gottfried, in my opinion, was the most savage roaster to ever roast on comedy central roasts just youtube his roasts and you will be in tears laughing.
as for this years, gathering expect the unexpected but don’t get your hopes up, the most talked-about on these forums who has been there in spirit and name only for over the last decade might just be there he wants to be there and if he does not have to be vaccinated he might actually show up.
