As ideal as Hogrock is, it sounds like it was getting a bit played out. In my opinion, the writing has been on the wall since the 10th annual. Moving the Gathering seems vital to keeping it fresh and strong. They still need to announce where Juggalo Day 2014 will be, might be months before a GOTJ location confirmation.

I disagree Warlock, Cave in Rock was home, I loved that place. Crossing the ferry wasn’t that big of a deal, and you really didn’t even have to do it at all. The next place might not want to have us back, did Hog Daddy finally have enough and kick us out? I was always under the impression that he liked having us, maybe it wore thin. I’m interested as to the reason why it’s moving though. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. 

I wouldn’t worry about having to travel to much farther though, the Gathering has always been in the middle of the Country more or less location wise. I’m down for a Wisconsin Gathering ninjas, I used to head up that way after the Gathering to hit up the State Fair and get some cream puffs and other all types of fried shit. I used to always plan on making both events in one trip before heading home, Wisconsin is a mad chill place. And since the first Gathering was in Michigan it’s not that much of a stretch having it there, it could happen. Definitely don’t want a West Coast Gathering, no fuckin’ way I want to have to drive all the way out there and back.
