I wasnt at the show he did there live but was watching on iPPV. That was by far the worst performance I have ever seen on the main stage at the Gathering. I love George Clinton and consider him an icon, but that is something I would never want to sit through again.

I liked his set myself man. Those monsters dancing around stage are trippy as fuck when you're geeked out on shrooms. Not a big fan of the music but they put on a hell of a show.

George Clinton puts on a hell of a show, and watching him while trippin your balls off is something else. Would def be down for a re-appearance.

was anybody not tripping for that show…? apparently not.
anyway, i suppose that the show was more of an event if you saw it live, on hallucinogenics, and [like me] you are a p-funk geek.
the p-funk has had a special place in my heart since i first heard mothership connection, way back when i was a wee youngn, so catching them live [at a gathering, no less] was one of those 'dream come true' kinda experiences. drugs not withstanding.
i just wish they had performed bop gun.

I didn't mind their set last year, but they're not really my thing. I could take or leave them again. Wouldn't walk away if I was already there, but probably wouldn't go out of my way to get there just for their set.
