Fuck Texas.

Really??

out of all of America there is only 3 places I would ever consider visiting

Alaska

Texas

and Nevada

to some extent Massachusetts Boston and Montreal have history longer than Canada and America were even countries and would like to visit one day and yes I would wear a Montreal Canadians NHL hat and would probably take a beating for but that's what makes Boston so appealing to me..

out of all your other states I see no reason to visit even New York maybe the state is nice but NYC is garbage even California before the corona I thought that state was so dirty I would get skifalifalitis if I went

but fucking Texas I would buy a custom made cowboy hat in Texas I would eat the biggest steak in Texas I would line dance to Billy Ray Cyrus in Texas, I would shoot really big guns in Texas, I would fuck the hottest big tittie escort with a southern accent in Texas, I would visit the rodeo in Texas there are so many things I would do in Texas just the name Texas sounds cool.

Texas is a lot like Quebec it's nothing like the rest of the country

New York is amazing. Literally my favorite place on earth. It was nowhere near as dirty as people say, and the people whew fucking amazing. They blew my mind with their generosity just general kindness.

Everybody should hit it up at least once.

Are you saying *all* steaks in Nebraska are better than *all* steaks in Texas? Based on what criteria? Is it Texas cows vs Nebraska cows? If so, what cows are being compared? Angus, Charolais, Hereford, Simmental, ... ?

TripAdvisor has a list of top 10 states for BBQ. Texas is #2. Tennessee is #1, Missouri is #3, South Carolina is #7. ... But that is one of many lists out there. In terms of national competitions, the team that has won the most is from Georgia. In many competitions, they separate Texas BBQ and KC BBQ into separate categories (Most have 4 - Texas, KC, Memphis, and Carolinas). Because of the differences in how they are prepared and cooked, they are separated and aren't considered the same dish. I am guessing you are stating your preference on the regional type of BBQ?

My preference is Texas (but even statewide Texas competitions split into up to 4 separate Texas style categories for BBQ) with the sub style I prefer being Central. Central style is based on the German/Mexican culture that lives there. It isn't a sweet BBQ like what comes from Kansas (They don't generally use tomato and/or molasses-based sauces) and with Central style being "meat focused", there is generally no "BBQ sauce" and the rub is not loaded with "secret" ingredients. The rub is generally just salt and pepper. Central Texas style is just about the meat and the cook, not any outside flavorings added. It is what I prefer since I do not like a lot of things added to food (I think I have mentioned in another thread - no ketchup on french fries, no syrup on pancakes, etc.)

Chicken fried steak? Not really into it so I have no opinion other than I don't generally go for fried foods.

Every state has its pros and cons.

I'm from upstate NY. Completely different world than NYC.

Upstate NY would be near perfect if it weren't for their uniquely devastated economy. I just could not thrive there. Sometimes could barely survive.

But it is my favorite place in the end. The wilderness is just impeccable. Green hills, endless lakes and ponds, mountains, parks. The fishing is wonderous. The food is just as good and diverse (in spots) as NYC.

Smack, you would like it. Upstate is basically a Yankee Canada.

Little known facts:

The Adirondack Park was created in 1892 by the state of New York. Containing six-million acres, the Park is the largest park in the contiguous United States. It covers one-fifth ofNew York State, is equal in size to neighboring Vermont, and is nearly three times the size of Yellowstone National Park!

The total number of ski resorts in operation during 2018/ 2019 by state:

1. New York: 51

2. Michigan: 43

3. Wisconsin and Colorado: 31 each

4. California and New Hampshire: 30 each

5. Pennsylvania: 26

and Montreal is in the process of building a 3,000 hectare park that will make it 8 times the size of New York's central park

Fun Fact, Smack! Liam Neeson has a humongous penis.

And fuck Central Park, that's not the kind of park I'm referring to lol.

Fun Fact! Texas is retarded for reopening their state.

Fun Fact! One of my favorite movies, "The Grey", with Liam Neeson, contains a plot point about his character mourning the loss of his wife. Apparently this was filmed after his real wife's passing, so a lot of that acting, well, was coming from a real place.

Fun Fact! Weld County in Colorado is also run by stupid people! They reopened and all that dumb shit. It's not even far from our county.

Fun Fact! Texas is retarded for reopening their state....

Why is that? The data suggests that it is time to start. It is also not a 100% opening. It is a slow, multi-staged, progressive re-opening. Not that any of it affects me. I was considered essential so I have been working the entire time.

As more data come out like Covid-19 morbidity vs core morbidity of those affected seem to be equal. The data also seems to show that the number of Covid-19 deaths almost equals the decrease in the number of deaths from other respiratory illnesses from year over year statistics. This offers credibility to the increasing number of physicians that are saying that hospital administration pressured them to code ANY respiratory related death as a Covid-19 death due to their hospital getting more federal assistance for each death associated with Covid-19. Some places in New York seemed to have cured the Flu with almost no reported flu deaths since Covid-19 came about.

Anyway, I think it is time to start re-opening. As testing has shown that way more people than previously thought had Covid-19 with most of those never experienced any ill effects, and those that did experience ill effects, most recovered quickly, and those that did not recover and died did not exceed the numbers for core morbidity of the demographic involved. ... except in certain areas - CDC reports New York City is 325% above the national average and has a 21% mortality rate. Odd. But in Texas with a population of 29 million, having administered 315,000 test, with 27,164 testing positive, and a death count of 748... That's 2.7536% of those testing positive dying. Big difference from the 21% of New York City. Those numbers indicate, that in Texas, 0.0937% of the total population tested positive and 0.0026% from total died. ... That is from the start of the whole thing. The reason for the slow, multi-staged, progressive re-opening of Texas is that while those are the total numbers since the start, the weekly numbers are declining geometrically and are currently lower than the projected average of flu deaths for Texas for this time of year. At which point should we open? Wait for it to hit 0?

Just my thoughts on this ... for Texas. For other areas, like New York City or the other top areas where the numbers are very drastically different (New Jersey, New York, Michigan, Massachusetts, Colorado, Maryland, and Illinois are the only states reported by the CDC to have numbers that exceed and do not match the statistics for the rest of the country). For those areas, the plan for re-opening should be drastically different since their reported numbers are drastically different.

Just a note, all those states - New Jersey, New York, Michigan, Massachusetts, Colorado, Maryland, and Illinois- are primarily democrat run states. It seems the virus affects democrat run states unproportionally. I guess this could actually be Trump's fault and that he is purposely allowing the virus to affect these states more than anywhere else. He's sneaky like that.

Damn that sucks man.

Also dont get your hopes up. I was born and raised in NC (Recently moved back after living in New England for a minute) and I just cant imagine The Gathering ever being held there. There are LOTS of others in NC tho man, festivals I mean. Mainly in the mountains.

You never know tho. This place is changing and growing everyday. For good and bad.

Is this bitch for real? Shamdemic. There's about 170 thousand people that would disagree if they didn't die alone in a hospital bed. Including my great aunt Jane that just died two days ago.

Dont bother responding I aint gonna read it.

the only people who died alone in hospital beds were living in democratic ran cities because seniors tend to vote republican

I just read that British Columbia has had 175 deaths total since the begging on this plannedemic yet more people overdosed on fentanyl in BC in the past 30 days.

don't worry this will all go away come November 4th when Trump gets his 4 more years

and sorry about your auntie
