I’m really hoping they revamp their setlist one of these GOTJ’s/tours. They did a little for MDP, but it wasn’t that drastic. I know they do songs that always “work” live, but as a juggalo I’m getting pretty tired of it.

I don’t know how this year will be set up homie, but I can tell you what It’s been like at Hog Rock all the years I went. I won’t include the 3 other places that I’ve been to Gatherings at, as they were all different in their own way. Which is why I assume it will be different again at this new spot, but it may be very similar.

At the faygo bar I never asked for a flavor and couldn’t get it, saw literally everything. You can also find it for sale from random ninjas at the Gathering, and you can use it to buy/trade shit with others if you want. Others will also share what they have, just depends who you come across. I still haven’t tried cotton candy either, we don’t have it up here yet. Make sure you try candy apple any and every chance you get, it’s not just my favorite faygo flavor, it’s by far my all time favorite soda, I literally drink it everyday.

Food vendors won’t be the same ones, as to my understanding they’re the whole reason we can’t go back to Hog Rock in the first place. It’s always pretty much the same though, pizza and burgers, all way overpriced. You can also get breakfast foods, texas toast, cotton candy, corn dogs, fried dough, carnival type shit. Just use your eyes and nose and ask others who have tried the shit before you what’s up. Don’t know if burrito man will be there, but I’d be surprised if he wasn’t. That’s the dude you wanna hook up with right there. He’s a Gathering staple, but he’s kinda hard to find sometimes. I never found him every year, but always heard after the fact that he was around. That dude is cool as fuck and his food is the absolute shit.

Mad ninjas show up and sell all types of shit. You can’t really predict what will be there, except for the tarot card lady who does readings and sells her paintings. I wouldn’t advise getting a tattoo there, it will be on you for the rest of your life, so getting one from a stoned guy in the woods while you sit on the tailgate of his truck is never a good idea. Yet people always seem to get them, so I guess just use your judgement. Keep in mind if it gets infected or comes out fucked up not only are you stuck with it, you’ll never see the dude again after the Gathering. Better to go to a professional wherever you live.

They always have a ferris wheel, and you will have absolutely no problem smoking a blunt or doing whatever the fuck you want on it. They always have that ride where you sit 3 to bench type thing and it whips you around and there’s usually another one, it escapes me at the moment just what that might be though. There’s usually 3 if I remember right. I always say I’m gonna go on the rides a lot but then I get there and start partying and watchin’ shows and forget all about them most of the time. You’ll see, time flies at the Gathering. 

You’ll figure out a lot of this when you get there for yourself, and everybody is friendly and mad helpful. So if you’re nervous, don’t be. You’ll be absolutely fine and you are going to have the time of your life.

Everything @patjoyce said is correct. Idk bout this new place tho. I remember you could toss the carny a blunt or 2 and you could literally chill on the ferries wheel as long as you want. You jus tell him when you wanted off. Ima miss Hogrock for sure. I’m super excited for this new spot since is only a 2 1/2 hr drive for me now.
