The wife has been asking and asking to go and of course kids, time, money ect prevented these things. BUT for the 20th the Scrubb’s will be in the house! Cannot wait, we are already planning and buying things. She said that she needs to go before she dies, or turns 60! haha Bucket list event for her, I’m more excited for her than anything really. So yeah, we’ll be down for the village and helping out with bringing freshness!

Yup…..last Gathering I went to was the 1st one they held at Hog Rock back in 2007. The “HOT Gathering”. Jesus fuckin christ everyday was in the high 90’s or 100’s. Also, I immediately got pulled over (leaving on a beer run) by an unmarked cop car and had to pay right there on the spot or I was going to jail $150 to those crooked ass cops! That one really hurt the funds for the trip that year. It literately sucked the fun outta me.
I also remember seeing the Ying Yang Twins perform that year…….I’ve NEVER seen so much SHIT being flung at 2 people!!! haha it was RAINING down garbage on them poor dudes.
But fuck all that. Next GOTJ we’re coming prepared with a decent amount funds. I’ll bring anything to make life a little more comfortable for all of us. Gonna rent a huge SUV and drive up there from Jacksonville, pack that bitch to the gills with the parking pass.

think im kinda tuning out the dead famous people newses. i been makin this mistake more and more.
‘sidewshow mix’ sounds a lot better than just performing an ep or two, a la dcgcon last year. leaves the setlist open for more variety and ‘surprise’, if you will. also makes us much less likely to gripe when they skip a song. out, for instance.
i think it would be the shiznit if they did a forgotten freshness tour. a full set of stuff that doesnt come from any of the main albums.
a one-off show like that at the gathering would be cool, too. but i think itd be better for a tour.
