Tickets for GOTJ will officially be available... at the trailer in the parking lot and only one window will be open. You will stand in 98 degree heat and direct sunlight and watch people go unconscious for entertainment for at least the first 30 hours of the gathering until you get to the front and get your ticket. Doin away with online sales this year. Goin back to the days before internet.
After 19 years, you figure they would have a system worked out by now.
I really like that Psychopathic posted a video 3 weeks ago saying that tickets were on sale.
Then they said tickets would be on sale the weekend of SXSW at the show.
So, what are we speculating? Esham issues?
Campground issues? Neighbors arming themselves? Noone wanting to rent them Port-a-potties?

No lie, the site was live at 11:48am EST, it was quickly closed, but not before you could order the passes.
Looks like Paypal is the preferred payment method this year.
It went live early the other morning for a lil bit and someone else I know got a ballas pass then.

I hope they cancel and refund all the "hackers" that bought ballas and pavilion passes before the site officially goes live.
They are all the same people who contributed to what psychopathic, specifically jumpsteady, said they are trying to stop....people "scamming" the system.
I bet at this point there is only 34% of the ballas passes left, and no good pavilions.

Hacking can be universally applied. In computers/networks many people think it has to do with computers. In part, it does but there is a huge human social engineering element. Even photographs (that's not what she did, I believe she used a computer) could be incorporated into hacking. You don't hack a computer. You hack a system. Systems have many different kinds of elements and in some cases, the most efficient method does not involve technology. It is still all hacking.
- If you can hack the right person, all of a sudden you have a piece of powerful malware.
- People always make the best exploits.
- All we need is one security flaw.
- Look at this place, man.
- It was built not to have any.- ...I see about six walking around.
...
In the end, buying the tickets was not really hacking.
I went to the website in chrome (no special plugins) around 11:00 am CST. The website was up. I clicked on tickets. Then on Big Ballas. Then added to cart. Finally clicked the check out button. It directed me to paypal to complete the transaction which I did. Was sent confirmation. When I checked the site a little bit later, it was down again.

It was around 2005. And I used a 'puter. Only Polaroids I've handled lately are the ones of ur mom I gave the methhead who sleeps behind our dumpster.

That was bad posting on my part. I was giving informational content that more or less had to do with what you said but really wasn't meant to be a rebuttal to your statement. I also tacked on something at the end that was not directed at you but the people thinking we hacked something.
