Gathering week is upon us and many of us were not invited.
That doesnt mean were not allowed to have our own sort of festivities.
How will you choose to spend your UnGathering?
My idea is to post a picture Saturday, August 3rd of yourself celebrating your UnGathering?
Votes for best picture will receive a custom cutout of your Faygoluvers screen name. In a medium of your choice, acrylic, vinyl decal, or piece of wood.
Thats right fam, an old fashioned FLH giveaway.
Some of you are anti-photography so this was just an idea.
Any other ideas?

Dude, the seminars are killer, but almost nothing they promise happens. I see more fun in just them talking to us, thats the cool part. Trash wars are fun to watch from the sidelines.
Have you made it to a gathering?
Im going to be kicking my own ass for four days for not going, but we need a roof, the guy thats going to do it said hed knock some money off if we helped with the tear off, clean up, random shit. Im all about saving a buck. So my vacation time will be spent whenever this guy is ready to start. Saturday the 3rd im actually going to be at an amusement park with my Mom, my sisters kids, and the mrs. But im planning on getting hammered at sometime during those 4 days.

Really? I love driving. Radio up, windows down, and see things. Everything!
The Mrs is a talker, not a bad thing. But she misses so much.
I read license plates, scenery, houses, junk in peoples yards. Im big on construction and how and why things are built. My eyes are all over the place while i drive. We had a 4 day weekend and i drove 18 hrs to Florida. We drove to the gathering in OK which was another 16-18 hour drive. Just get behind the wheel and go, man. See some stuff.

I Like drivin’ around the/a city..
I traveled multiple times to New Mexico & from Washington for funerals as a kid.. so I got sick of it..
however idealistically, If I could I would live on a tour bus.. but I feel that’s different.. ’cause there’s beds & showers..

I can understand.
Growing up, my “quality time” and things that are most prevalent with “family”, was driving to and from places. My parents had a game where we would try and guess the artist on the radio. This was the step after ‘spot the alphabet in order’ and ‘license plate poker’. Dad behind the wheel, changing radio stations, mom trying to guess who is singing, or vice versa, and us kids sitting in the back quiet and listening if they were right. Just felt solid…
It was never about the end point, it was about the drive. I cant remember a single place where we were going, but i can remember the ride.

@Drunkalo lets just have a mini GOTJ type thing in the woods in PA for like 2 nights and well invite jelly roll and kmk n shit and they can take all the money (cept our parkin fees, $5 bucks yo). Have a fishin tournament and cornhole and some cheap backyard oldschool shit. Djs are only allowed to play 2004 and before shit. We’ll call it “2004 and Before!” All us mid 30s Juggalos can play old people games and drink until we pass out on the ground somewhere. Bring your own hammock.

I’ve had Soju once. It is one of the few “hard” alcohols that I could tolerate back when I used to drink. Is that the traditional rice based or is it one of those potato based ones?
There are some new “smart” inks now available. I’ve read about color changing tattoos that change based on various things like body heat or even glucose levels in your blood. Anyway, post pics when done.

This is a traditional soju, so it’s riced based. I’m guessing the soju you had was in a little green bottle? It tastes kinda like very weak vodka cut with a bit of rubbing alcohol?
This tastes like… sweet dirt? So kinda like a mushroom, I guess. It’s also much sweeter. Most soju is around 17% alcohol. This is 45%. It’s also much more expensive. A bottle of soju at the convenience store is usually like 1600 won. Which is like $1.35. On the side of the box, it claims that it doesn’t give you a hangover.

Sweet dirt doesnt sound appealing at all. I give it credit as something id like to try, but is it worth the effort of looking for?
Mr Pigg, are you gathering this year? You mentioned it will be during your summer break. Did you find a way back to the states or will you be UnGathering with some of us? What ideas do you have for tattoos?
