Stitches whole gimmick seems to be take the ridiculous facial tatoos of Gucci Mane and mix them with the Rick Ross fantasy persona of being a heavyweight coke dealer.

I’d like the gimmick more if his rhymes were actually clever.

The hook off that track Brick in Yo Face is catchy as fuck though.

He came to Toronto a few months back and pulled around 150 people for his headlining show.

I did not go but heard it was entertaining, so I’d say check him out at GOTJ for the train wreck factor alone.

I also admit that while I had never heard of him before the infomercial and formed a pre-emptive opinion, after having watched his videos on his YouTube channel, I gotta grudgingly admit that I dig what I’ve heard.

I was a bit put off by his facial tats (even though I have tats and piercings myself, I still got hang-ups) but after watching more than one of his videos, I can detect a kind of sense of humor about his stuff.

And I agree, “Brick In Your Face” has been stuck in my head for a while.

I’ll be checkin’ him out at The Gathering.
