I was looking over stories related to PSYs bounced checks and GOTJ debts, and I noticed that they cut a check to the Hardin County Sheriffs Department to buy vests, stunguns, and “other equipment”. The check bounced, but still, why is PSY buying police officers stunguns? I understand it is a PR move but really, is it appropriate? That would be my first advice to the apparently financially struggling GOTJ…. Quit giving money away to the police. That’s hoe shit. Not a big deal, just a thought.

I remember seeing something like it costs the police more money during the gathering then any other time out of the year combined.

I seriously doubt that the locals spend more money than make when GOTJ comes to town. The bikers are there several times a year for festivals, and from what I read can be worse than we are. Yet nobody bitchs about them.
As far as the “check for stunguns”. I doubt Psy wrote the check and put “for stunguns” on the memo line or made it a condition of the money. Like said above it was for PR and the PD can do whatever they want for the money.
