these days, the vast majority of horror movies, classic or not, mostly bore the shit out of me.  i guess the genre as a whole just isnt as effective anymore, you know?

I love horror just as much as I did when I was younger. A lot of the newer films that take themselves seriously, end up blowing more than the old, and intentionally cheesy ones. Lots of shit out there only trying to get money like anything else.

I'm gonna smoke a fatty and watch this right now. I'm not sure why but I've never been into the Asian horror like a lot of people. I've heard of some names besides Miike, but never checked em out yet, and the ones I've seen were kind of ruined because I already saw the shitty shot-for-shot, American remakes of them first. 

Cannibal Holocaust is sick! Good stuff, I'll be re-watching that again soon. DVD is scratched
