I’ve never been a particular fan of pokemon, I’ve never actually even owned a game, but X and Y make me want to get into it.
One of my friends actually explained shiny pokemon and vitality stats to me not too long ago. Don’t know what the hell a garchomp is, though.

I was big into magic the gathering thoe I still have 1000’s of those cards from like 20 years ago
thats what i thought i had to try thou. ask me a year ago id be in the same boat but i had a bunch of the newer stuff and 3ds fall in my lap so i picked it up again.MTG is awesome i gave a bunch of cards away trying to get other ppl to play and they never got in to it

I loved beating pokemon blue or red then put mewtwo dragonite etc on ookenin stadium then restart on blue red or yellow and you have all bad ass pokemon to start with. Or if you have stadium 2 you can put them on gold silver or crystal.
