Ive been wanting to get into some of the Batman Graphic novels some of them are really Dark and interesting. Im still reading The Girl WHo Loved Tom Gordon by Stpehen King i should be done but im taking my time. Sometimes i only read when imdroppin a dune so it takes a bit to finish the books i start. Dang was that TMI o well.

I read Thomas Paine's “Common Sense”. Very short book, but very interesting. It was the book that he wrote to inspire people to revolt against Britain for the independents of America. Was actually just a pamphlet, now it's a short book. Learned about this dude in my Political Science class. Seen tons of quotes from him that were extremely awesome. He is now one of my favorite historic figures.

lol how is the book treatin' ya preachy? It's actually really short compared to what he usually puts out. Good shit though man….My favorite batman graphic novel was the Batman: Arkham Asylum…The joker in that is my all time favorite representation of the joker. Dude is a fucking sociopathic lunatic..Love it

Its Cool im in the Mid 100's and its only like 250 or 80 pages its cool im waiting for the supernatural to happen but the little girl has been through alot she get attacked by some bee's and then rolls down a hill its wild i like it.

@neverthrive, Angela’s Ashes is a great book, I inherited it from my father along with all his other books but Angela’s Ashes was a really really great book. It surprised me, I wasn’t expecting tnat when I started reading it. I’m reading the sequel to that right now, it’s called ‘Tis. It’s pretty good too, I like this Frank McCourt guy. He’s had one hell of a hard life and still finds humor in everything. Angela’s Ashes was very inspiring, nice to know someone else in the juggalo scene read and appreciated it. Good call neverthrive.

I enjoy some of clancy's work also. Only two that I can recall are The Net Force and Rainbow Six. I'm still waiting on a full on biological attack on the olympics or the superbowl like they tried to pull off in the book.
Anyone ever heard of Robert Ferrigno? I just read a book of his called “Prayers For The Assassin”. It takes place in an alternate future, where the muslims have infiltrated most of america. It starts off in the middle of a second civil war between the islamist states and the christian bible belt states(the south basically)., and the main protagonist in the group is what they call a “Fedayeen”.
He is a muslim who lost his faith and doesn't fight for any one side. He is called in by the head of the department state of security to rescue his daughter(who is the main characters old flame) from extremists, the whole time dodging both factions of the war and being chased by a mercenary assassin named “Darwin”
Very dope book in the vein of Robert Ludlum, full of twists, backstabbing, and espionage.
Harlen Coben is another good author I just recently discovered. He writes what they call “suburban thrillers” about normal run of the mill people being thrust into larger than life plots of conspiracy. I've read four of his books, and each one you don't know the true plot until the last two or three pages of the book. It doesn't follow the normal formulas for books, and no matter how much you think you have the plot figured out, you don't….I think affleck is making a movie out of one of his books right now
