I used to watch Big Trouble in Little China, like, everyday after school on VHS. Same as you warlock, I watched it as an adult and was surprised at how stupid it was. I used to love it, now it’s just fun to laugh at while high, because the storyline is absolutely ridiculous and the acting is just downright embarrassing. Used to also love to watch Planes, Trains and Automobiles, but that movie is still the shit.

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (yup, fat kid), with Gene Wilder, none of that Tim Burton BS. I also really dug Iron Giant, Titan A.E., My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away… Psychedelic kid movies are the shit. For me, as an adult, I don’t know if kids care so much.

My homie, I just watched BTILC for the 10,002nd time last week. Its not a kids movie and its not stupid. I wish there were more movies as unique as it. Its like Beetlejuice, in some purgatory land in between kids movie and adult. Pure classic. Jack Burton 4 life foo!
On that note.. its hard to think of any movies right now.. Gremlins, Goonies, The Phantom Tollbooth, Return to Oz… also purgatory flix

You ever played Ni-no Kuni for PS3? Studi Ghibli (the peeps behind Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro) did the artwork for that game.
Also, Willy Wonka is the shit! Vin Disel is the robot in Iron Giant, and Sandlot if fucking amazing.
I love kids movies, and I am kind of a little nerdy bitch.

The Goonies and Willy Wonka, how could I forget those. Shit, shame on me. The Sandlot is also the shit but I was a teenager by the time that that one came out, still enjoy it to this day though. Wendy Peppercorn, love that bitch.
I agree that BTILC is certainly unique, but that’s about it. John Carpenter is the shit, just felt retarded to me when I watched it again. I used to think it was the coolest shit, now not so much. Like I said though, great stoner flick. But not in a way that is positive towards the movie itself, more of a “Who the fuck wrote this shit?” kinda way. that’s just my opinion though homie, to each his own dude.

Man those are some good titles. I remember watching Stand by Me constantly when i was a kid. I love BTILC its a great movie Lo Pan is a great Villian. Its Alll in the reflexes. You know what Jack Burton says on a Dark and stormy night???? What the Hell?
Great One of my faves has to always be the TMNT trilogy. Batman movies The OG one from the 60’s is great. 3 Ninjas was a great series of movies but kinda corny now but it still holds a spot in my heart. Rocky Loves Emily!!! If i was a Lil Booger where would i be??? Fun stuff But at the same time when i was like ten i was watching Reseviour Dogs too…..

Nightmare Before Christmas, The Great Mouse Detective, Little Nemo(not finding nemo, this was about a kid that goes to a kingdom flying on his bed.
