could never get into that show I tried but it was just too weird for me

when ALF showed up It was too much and I stopped watching

maybe now that it’s over I will give it another try sometime down the road

He was kind of dreaming the ALF thing. Mr. Robot took over his consciousness while he was getting beat by the guards while he was in prison to protect him. Though even then, Elliot (not the real Elliot, but the Mastermind) wasn’t seeing the prison yet, he constructed an alternate reality, yet again, to shield his mind. The real Elliot was stuck in a consciousness loop and had been since right before the start of F-Society. Metaphorically, when he put on the “mask”, he never took it off.
