I don't know if anyones heard the news but there is an upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot, with Micheal Bay at the helm. I was geeked the fuck out until I heard what he is going to do. They now will be alien turtles from space, while shredder and the Foot will be a special ops squad. Completely destroying the mythos of my favorite childhood franchise………. Im lookin for someone to help me pipe bomb Bay's mansion.

That's a reinvision as it's not following the origins. I'm all for reinvisions as long as the turtles are named and portrayed correctly. Hopefully it does better than the the third TMNT movie.

Well it kinda defeats the purpose of “mutant” turtles doesn't it? reinvision or reboot either way it needs to be left alone. If your gonna make a fucking movie about alien turtles then come up with a completely different story and names and change the title of the movie. Instead of trying to cash in on the fanbase that's already there. It's an insult to our intelligence really.

Actually from looking it up it seems to just be called Ninja Turtles. And seems to be haulted from moving forward.

Dude, I never saw this thread until now, WTF right? Michael Bay has been fucking up movies his whole career (no, I don’t like Transformers either, that was hollywood bullshit as well). Remember Pearl Harbor? There’s not enough space to go into that movie man, one of the worst ever. Let’s not forget he’s also the genius who decided to take the dinner scene out of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Every plot point you just named is an abomination of the series that I grew up wearing the pajama’s from. Watch it become a romantic comedy with a love triangle between April, Donatello, and Raphael and they sit around talking about their feelings.

I remember that from Team America dude!! The first time I heard that shit I died laughing, I was the only person in a theatre of 15/20 people who thought it was but I didn’t give a fuck at all man. It was just so unexpected at the time in the movie, love the Cuba Gooding Jr line, that’s my favorite part. And, off subject, I thought you were imitating the rednecks on South Park myself. “Rabble!! Well I was imitating south park also. But it really is relevant to the times we are living in right now. Im sure you have some of the type im talking about up north. It is fucking comedy man. Both sides of the political spectrum really. Our newspapers are ultra-liberal and the radio/news is ultra-conservative. The ultra-liberals are just as bad! I will say that not everybody is like that here and there is alot of people in the middle somewhere.
Alot of us still embody the core american values and still hold doors open for people and say M'am and Sir. Regular “Blue Collar” people. But yeah media is a fucking freakshow and I love to observe it
