Sorry if this has been done before. I had a quick look and couldn’t see it, at least nothing posted recently.
I like all kinds of films, Pulp Fiction and Disney’s Aladdin being my two favourite. I have to admit I have a morbid fascination with particularly fucked up/sadistic/depressing/bleak/violent films. I have seen quite a lot with A Serbian Film, Martyrs, Grotesque, Visitor Q, Requim for Dream and Irreversible being among the most disturbing.
What are the most disturbing movies you have ever seen? Any Recommendations?
BTW I’m pretty new to these Forums (been reading for years but only joined recently) so: “What up people. I’m Blacklisted MC: https://www.facebook.com/mcblacklisted MCL”

Oldboy (the 2003 version) is a great movie with an interesting ending.
Audition is a great movie to watch and tell people it’s a romance movie. Made by Takachi Miike who made Visitor Q.
I Saw the Devil is pretty fucked up and depressing.
Begotten is interesting if you can take black and white films.
I’ve always wanted to see Brazil…
Kill list is in Netflix and is pretty interesting.
In what way do you want the film to be disturbing?

Dog Pound, the part where that kid gets raped is pretty fucked up. Deliverence, the part where that guy gets raped is pretty fucked up. Devil’s Rejects, the part where he makes the girl suck his dick is pretty fucked up, also when he woke up with naked dead girls on his bed. From what I know, the Taking of Bebra Logan is pretty fucked up, from when she bites some kids head off. Blair Witch, I liked that as well, but I know a lotta people hate it because there’s no effects at all. Once I think of more, I’ll post.

Oh wait, Jack Ketchum’s The Girl Next Door was fuckeddd up.
Yes. Easily the most despair ive ever felt from a film. To the point where i wont even let my wife watch it. I mean im not preventing her forcefully, i just know its in her best interests, so i strongly discourage. The worst part is its based on a true story.

Begotten is a film I’d recommend. Piggy knows whats up. Begottens a total mood killer for me I was in a deep depression for awhile afterwards. I do not know why but I think watching that film put my mind elsewhere. I fell asleep the other night watching the Boston Bombings documentary and had some pretty bad nightmares.

Thanks for all recommendations. Definitely some good ones in there and some I will check out.
I’ve seen : Oldboy, Audition, I saw the Devil, Kill List, Clockwork Orange, Antichrist and Tusk – all great.
I would say Tusk was kind of fucked up I guess but it was way too funny to be disturbing. That Walrus costume was just hilarious.
I am going to check out ‘the girl next door’ either tomorrow or the day after, That sounds good. I’ll let you know what I thought of it.
Believe it or not I have never got round to watch either of the Human Centipede films. I think all the hype actually put me off a bit. has anyone seen them and are they actually worth watching?

They are horribly made movies, but they’re fun to watch.
