I was actually kinda angry after sitting through ABC’s of Death. haha I liked maybe 4 of the 26 (Q was my favorite) and hated the rest of it. Torture porn, dumb writing, recurring shit/toilet theme got old fast, I just really didn’t like it.

I’ll recommend a few off the top of my head:

The Men Behind The Sun – Based on what went on at Japanese prison camps during the first or second world war. Pretty gruesome stuff to say the least. They throw a guy in a pressure chamber & he pops, freezing people’s limbs off, etc. Brutal shit, you’ll probably have to search for it.

Antichrist – More of a psychological thriller, but still pretty horrific in parts. Some scenes you just can’t unsee. Artsy, gory, and just plain fucked up.

REC – The spanish one. I thought it was really cool, but it’s not mind-blowing or anything. Just a fun, mostly first-person, horror flick.

Pandorum – Probably a little more Sci-Fi than Horror, but I thought it was pretty intense. If you think about it, the premise is pretty terrifying. Last humans alive, trapped on a dying spaceship with monsters & crazy people.

Cool, as long as I’m not the only one that’s iffy on Eli Roth, I’m good. 

There were a few solid shorts on ABC’s but yeah, there was a lot of intentional gross out stuff that was kind of boring. 

REC is fucking awesome so for anyone keeping score, I second that one to whoever hasn’t watched it.

It Follows was pretty great, a solid 8/10 for me.

it follows was pretty great.8/10 for me too…the story lacked a bit but overall the cinematography and music were great.Reminded me of Halloween a lot visually and of course carpenter score. the sound design was fantastic..sounds great in a theater.

Muck as I watched recently sucked bad and had to turn it off…stay away.

a movie called Spring was pretty good too. Weird love story/ H.P Lovecraft type shit…worth a watch..but its not really full on blood n guts..lots of taking but its entertaining and great cinematography of italy.

a girl walks home alone at night is another good one but most people probably wont like it.  Its about an Iranian vampire. Leans more on the romance than blood n guts but its done well,slow at times but worth a watch if u like artsy black n white films …

Im looking forward to Poltergeist on May 22nd. The original is one of my favorite movies so Im pretty sure it wont be as good but it looks descent.Sam Raimi is producing so I hope its somewhat good.

Cabin Fever was very good but it was (in my opinion) only good because it was an ode to  70’s horror flicks. Fuck it, it’s in the water, there, now on with the scary/drug/tits. I loved it but that’s the only thing that I’ve really liked from him yet he gets treated like a master of horror or something. 

I agree. If Cabin Fever didn’t have that aesthetic and Rider Strong (I’m a boy meets world mark) I probably wouldn’t have cared. The goofy dude from Detroit Rock City was also a plus. Oh and the chick with fake tits. Though I must say, that thing she did when she was done screwing her bf was a tad… Uh, weird.

Dude, I’m also a huge mark for Boy Meets World. I also like that you used the term ‘mark’, since I’m also a huge wrestling nerd. 

As am I and I want Brock back dammit. At least Boring Reigns didn’t get the strap. Guess his families stroke isn’t a piss in the bucket compared to Nash’s torn quad. Btw, does it need pointed out how much of a bitch he is vs Trips?

There better be. But I think we should — no offense — keep it to AWA, NWA, WCW AND WWF/E. I don’t find ECW, backyard and JCW to be real wrestling. I respect what they do (in one way or another) but I prefer wrestling matches that aren’t gimmicky (or if they are serve a purpose, ie hell in a cell) while I prefer the wrestlers to be pretty gimmicky (warrior, perfect, DiBiase, savage, hulk, Brock, etc)
