I wasn’t expecting a lot from Cooties and it was still pretty disappointing. A few chuckles were had, but overall a big mehhhh.The Visit was actually quite a bit of fun. I would have ended the movie probably 5ish minutes sooner, but thats just me.
seems like you and I have the same taste in horror movies.

Loved It Follows, thought Spring was pretty good. The guys that made Spring their previous movie Resolution I thought was much better but I don’t see it talked about all that much for whatever reason.

VD recommended Resolution to me. Fucking loved that flick. Spring reminds me of Let Me In in some ways. Dude did a really good job acting. Very organic and convincible
It Follows was my favorite horror flick of the last few years. All the actors were great. Writing was great. Tension build up was great. I tried to explain the premise to my buddy and he thought it sounded retarded because of the way the curse is passed on. Im like dude, just watch it. Not too many horror movies get good reviews on Rotten Tomatoes

yup…I liked the voices…nothing amazing but I enjoyed it. Deathgasm is a fun flick……lots of gore, reminiscent of evil dead…demons even sound like deadites and some quick sam raimi cam zooms on the chainsaw was cool. after you see it Super Wyzard let me know what you thought. On 16th…Tales of Halloween and Crimson Peak from del toro looks awesome…some good horror movies this year. Also scouts guide to the zombie Apocalypse looks like it might be a good one..Trailer was cool…

I enjoyed Final Girls…they really just should have gone balls out and made it rated R….would have been better with more gore,it is a fucking slasher film…also the killers mask was kinda lame…other than that I like the chemistry between the mom and daughter was cool…little too corny and cheesy but worth a watch..
tales of halloween was really disappointing to me…I really wanted to like it but couldn’t get into it..maybe with a bigger budget and better production would have been cool but fell flat for me….oh well…
Bone Tomahawk came out with Kurt Russell…..horror/western/cannibal movie…starts slow but pay off is great…good ending.I enjoyed that one.

-Let me preface this by saying: I did not ready any of the other posts, so there will be suggestions of mine that have already been suggested by others.-
Been watching horror movies with the wife all this month.
A Christmas Horror Story was dope, watched that last night.
Tales of Halloween was pretty good, it’s an anthology and it’s a pretty hit or miss comedy/horror.
The Green Inferno was really good, not really as gorey as you’d expect it to be, but a very good suspenseful thriller movie.
The Battery is a couple years old, but I have to recommend it to anyone looking for horror movies to watch, it’s a cheaply made indie zombie flick and it is fucking fantastic. Check it out.
The horror movie Clown was surprisingly good.
Contracted and Contracted: Phase 2 were sick as fuck. Wife loves those ones.
Unfriended was kind of stupid, but not that bad and if you’re like me and have seen pretty much every horror movie, and you’re scraping the bottom of the barrel to find some new movies to watch, check that shit out.
You’ve most likely seen it, but if you haven’t check out Drag Me To Hell (2009). That was directed by Sam Raimi, the dude who made my favorite movie, The Evil Dead.
The Taking of Deborah Logan was a good possession film.
The Babadook was an instant classic, if you haven’t seen it, see it.
Mercy was a good one too. It’s on netflix if you got it.
The Sacrament is from 2013, but that movie is fresh. About a fuckin crazy religious cult. Shit is fucked up.
Once again, a little older (2010) but John Carpenter’s The Ward was great. An insane asylum psychological horror movie.

Drag me to hell is one of my favorites. I love at the end shen they mention that cabin in the woods.(evil dead) well thats what i got out of it
