Jeepers Creepers 3 is *supposedly* coming out later this year. Which makes me happy.

I really like Creeper as a character. The idea is cool as fuck, he’s one of the few movie killers that actually hunt as opposed to just hacking people and getting lucky, his design walks that line between over-the-top and semi-believable, and Jeepers Creepers 2 showed how much of a personality a rubber suit can still have. 

Idk why those movies are so overlooked in the horror community.

Bought Texas Chainsaw Massacre 4K digital restoration….cant wait to check it out.

Yes me and the wife went and saw it. It was awesome. It’s probably going to stand out as one of the best films of 2016, considering the crap that is set to release later this year…

its better than the OG…didnt really care for the first one much ….was ok but I just cant stand shaky cam shit…done to death.

Finally watched Krampus. It was a good movie. Kind of reminded me of The Babadook in a way. I can definitely see myself watching it along side Bad Santa and Silent Night Deadly Night at Christmas time.

Has The Invitation been mentioned yet? Holy fuck dude. It aint a straight up horror but it slowly and continuously builds tension the ENTIRE god damn movie. No jump scares or cheap tricks. You can just feel this dudes stress and unease, and by the time it was done I was actually relieved….In the best way possible though. Phenomenal fucking flick.

 

The Boy was better than I expected too, and didn’t go where you think it’s gonna go.

I want to see The Invitation…Heard it was really good.  Havent seen the Boy either yet but I heard its worth a watch…ill probably check both them out this weekend….going to see Green Room this weekend too…Heard its really good. Not horror but I heard Keanu is really funny…I want to check that out too. The trailer looked meh but its getting good reviews.

I might need to watch it again, but upon first watch, The Forest kind of felt like a letdown. Has anyone else seen The Forest yet?

Watched Invitation…fucking loved it. Great film. Really love the slow burn.Great character development. Really like how they make you think its all in his head are they really crazy? the last 1/3 was  predictable, I knew what was gonna happen way in the beginning but they did it in a fresh way that I really enjoyed. The very last scene was cool but kinda felt like they threw that in there but really liked it great movie.

if anyone gets a chance they should check out Midnight Special. Awesome flick. Not horror but more sci fi thriller thats really well done.reminded me of close encounters of the third kind in a way.Highly recommend.

Going to see Green Room today….

Green Room had a Juggalo shout out…they were talking about music and Juggalo was mentioned, kinda funny. Movie was ok,I enjoyed it for the most part, just wish they would make you care about the characters a bit more. After watching The invitation which was so good in character development, green room was was a bit disappointing in that aspect but it had  other flaws with it…not thats its a bad movie, its not but I was expecting more balls out crazy shit. Had some cool gory scenes but they should have amped up the violence to 11… all in all though its worth a watch, just put your expectations a little low and maybe it will pay off better for you.
