I just wanna say the dialogue is one of my favorite things about a zombie film. Like Tarantino and Kevin Smith he has a very distinct and unique dialogue style where you can just tell its him. Also I dont care if sheri moon cant act. She doesnt even have to have lines just throw her in there and im happy.
Idk if its been mentioned but Kevin Smith is making a horror movie called Tusk that is gonna star Michael Parks. If yall havent seen red state go check it out. Parks gives a phenomenal performance as the head of the cooper family. Dude definitely deserved an award for that one
Cosign erryting you said, homie. Sheri Moon Zombie is extremely watchable, I don’t mean in a basic sexual physicality manner, or even in a charismatic way. I just enjoy watching her try it out, sue me lol.
Dialogue is one of my favorite flavors of a film. That’s why Dogma got me to stop what I was doing and just watch/listen whenever it came on. Plus my homie is an extra in it lol.
Tarantino dialogue never fails. The Hopper vs Walken scene in True Romance. Sam Jackson and the bail bondsman in Jackie Brown. The opening interrogation in Inglorious Basterds. About every scene in Pulp Fiction. When Mr. Blonde talks with Nice Guy Eddie and Joe in Reservoir Dogs. Harvey Keitel’s faithless diatribes in From Dusk Til Dawn.. I also love the scene in the strip joint in Kill Bill Part 2 where Bud gets bitched at by his boss. The guy is a proffesional assassin but still has to take shit from his wack ass cokehead boss because of where alcoholism and bad money choices have put him. I love how tarantino can create (with the help of good actors) a realistic conversation in his films that help ground and balance the sensationalism of the wackier parts of the story…. back to that fondness of “regular people stuck in unbelievable situations” genre.

Martyrs is the shit.I love that movie its so fuckin crazy. have you seen A Serbian Film? now that movie makes you feel like you were raped.I felt dirty after I watched so I watched it again.Great movie but be ready for some crazy shit.

Another good horror movie I recently watched is called Let Me In. Its a couple years old but it gives a fresh take on the vampire genre, and im not talking vampires that glitter. Its about a neglected abused boy that forms a connection with a vampire girl that has moved in next door. Its more about despair and loneliness than violence and bloodsucking. Best vampire movie ive ever seen

You talking the American one? I own the subtitled “Let the Right One In” and its very good but in some other language… I’ve heard the American one “Let Me In” is that rare superior sequel..
And Violent, I always thought “Dead Nigger Storage” would be the ideal ironic name for an all black speed metal group.

if you like dialogue,on netflix there is a movie called Resolution that is reallly good but may require a second viewing to understand it.has a meta cabin in the woods thing goin on but its really good.pay close attention to that one
