hell yes .goin to see it friday for sure. I seen that wwe studios but also blumhouse that did sinister,all paranormal activity movies,insidious 2 and few others.I have read some good reviews for it so I hope it is good.been waiting for a good horror movie to come out in theatres,been awhile!! the last good one was what the conjuring or insidious 2? american horror is shit these days!!

@frog lol. Not me. I’ve watched so many horror movies and listen to so much horror music, I’ve become indifferent or numb to it. There are times still though when I’ll jump at a sudden scare, Even though I still enjoy the movies/music, the shock value of it is just dulled for me.

but i consider it to be cheesy and cheap. even when spielberg did it.
most filmmakers these days are so bad at it, i can see it comin way in advance.

I like creepy or depressing movies, or psych thrillers, or things that ACTUALLY have, or could actually happen.
Example: The Seasoning House. It’s a movie about the Baltics during the early 90’s. It is set in a brothel, and it shows all of the fucked up shit that went on (and still goes on) in places like that, and it also has some claustrophobic horror elements.
It got bad reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, but IDK why. It’s on netflix if anyone wants to watch it.

saw Oculus last night.Was ok movie.Not great but didnt suck either.Better than most horror movies that come out in america these days.Wait for the dvd though.Never heard of the seasoning house.I’ll check it out POD.Thanx.Always lookin for horror movie recommendations.

I think 86 nailed it..were all numb to it all and violence so nothing is scary or shocking anymore..oh well..still fun to watch though.

If you have netflix, I recommend Stitches? If you haven’t seen it, you should. It’s kind of dumb, but I think it was meant to be ( I mean come on now, it’s about a clown). It’s got gore in it that puts the Hellraiser movies to shame.
It’s really really exaggerated at times, but still fun to watch I thought.

@piggofdoom Thanks pig for recommending The seasoning house.cool depressing movie for sure.I dont know why rotten tomatoes gave it a bad rating.probably the subject mattter was too rough for some people to like it, but good flick.From beyond is some classic stuart gordan shit fuckin awesome!!!Kill list was cool too.Didnt like almost human thought it sucked and house 1977 is such a weird fuckin movie.couldnt really get into it but worth a watch. suicide club is one i saw recently that was cool and In Fear is worth a watch too
