That movie definitely is intense.
Another good Ellen Page one is “Into the Forest”. Anything post-apocalyptic is usually enjoyable for me. I love that whole subgenre of movies.
More post-apocalyptic (or just apocalyptic) movies I liked:
● Melancholia

● 12 Monkeys
● The Road
● Interstellar
● Sunshine

● 4:44 Last Day on Earth (not excellent but worth one watch)

Climax also made me freak the fuck out. Take a bunch of edibles and sit alone in the dark with a few beers. That shit isnt even supernatural at all. Just nerve wracking.

I didnt read the whole way thru the list. I did read about the first 5 reviews worth and thought I’d share.
We did watch Midsommer and Mandy. To us they were just weird over the top movies.

I’ve been meaning to watch those.
Basically edge lord the movie except in different times from a different culture so the edge won’t translate as well.

It’s a French movie. I was able to find one with English subs, but they weren’t all the way correct. It made the dialogue a little weird. It did give a pretty good idea of what was going on.
I think this is the first time OMD and me agreed on a movie. Awe!!
Although I do not agree with the beer and edibles beforehand. I would reccomend a double dose of your anxiety meds.
