Many people are saying why the hell make this movie blah blah blah…

I really hope this movie is great, this is my favorite horror movie franchise ever. Original Texas Chainsaw Massacre is my favorite all time movie, ever. I’m a little worried though, is anyone else concerned that this movie is in 3-D? I love the concept of 3-D movies, but all the 3-D horror movies are constantly a disappointment. My Bloody Valentine, Saw 3-D, My soul to take was the worst Wes Craven movie ever, and that’s saying something!! It just seems to me that everytime a horror movie has anything 3-D attached to it, it’s to try and mask the fact that the movie fucking blows. I really hope that is not the case, but when I saw that this was being released in 3-D, my heart sank. I just have a bad feeling, can’t help it.

Agreed. I think maybe it's cuz when people make 3-D movies they go out of their way to incorporate it in the movie. Instead of filming the movie with a 3-D camera and picking the 3-D effects after the movie is done, they design a scene specifically for 3-D. It always feels gimimicky and un-natural to me

Just got back from seeing it. I didn't expect what happened at all but I really liked it. I can't say much or it will spoil the shit out of it but I can see how some fans might not like certain things. Not me tho, I really enjoyed it and the main female lead is my new dream girl.
There was no point to even have the 3d other than for the previews. That was the worst part about it.

I just saw it this morning and omg this is a great movie was better than i expected. The main girl is super beautiful her eyes just wow. Any fan of the og should see this and theres a wild twist very clever.

saw this yesterday and im a big horror fan but this movie is complete shit.Bad acting,bad everything.Slap in the face to leatherface.The cgi is painful to watch.save your $$$ for the red box.The timeline makes no sense if the chick was a baby in 1973 and in 2012 would make her 39 yrs old!!shes not a day over 20!!Thats a small gripe for this shit fest!!!!

I dont think it was based in 2012 its supposed to be like u said 20years later. I didnt see the theater version with the 3D i watched it on the net and i thought the flick was wild it had some cool gore scenes and a good story. Plus there was bad acting in the og i mean its a horror movie not Schindlers List.
