The Walking Dead jumped the shark with Glenn’s “death”. The fact that he survived a fall into a horde of walkers and gets out of it unscathed is total bullshit. I just can’t take the show seriously anymore after that. I realize this is a bit of a late response, but I just find these 15 year old fangirls on Facebook painfully annoying. Ugh.
Reality time you bunch of fucking emo crybabies: Glenn should be dead. The Walking Dead hit a peak in season 4, and it’s all been downhill since season 4 concluded. Season 5 was okay, but it’s unmistakable in season 6, the show is turning into shit. And Glenn surviving was the undeniable proof of it.
I’m probably just going to do with The Walking Dead what I do with WWE: don’t watch the show and just hear about the terrible results later on on the Internet. Because as much as I want to love it, it just sucks now.

Seriously though. If anyone actually acted the way these people do, they’d all be dead. Even besides the Glenn somehow surviving after falling into a horde of zombies thing…they’ve just made it painfully unrealistic at this point. If I hadn’t already paid for the season on Amazon I’d have quit watching it awhile ago. It’s just 45 minutes of me being like “why in the hell would they do that, have they learned nothing?!”
Of course, I’ll probably end up buying the next season when it comes out (I don’t have cable). I just can’t give up hope of it getting better, and I don’t want to miss it when it becomes sweet again lol. Plus I’m just the type of person that wants to finish something once I start it…I’ve read some horrible books/watched some lame movies just because I can’t stand the suspense of not knowing what happens. It’s sort of a problem. But whatever.

That’s my thoughts exactly. It’s just way too much that Glenn survived that. I mean, even when I suspend my disbelief, it still doesn’t seem possible for anyone to survive that. That moment… pretty much ruined the show for me. They jumped the shark.

It was glenn in the comics, but it won’t be him for the show. The only big character I can see it being is Daryl. If not Daryl, it’ll be one of the characters nobody cares about: Eugene, Rosita or hell, even Sasha. The whole show has become one big trollfest.
