Yela isnt any more country rap than rehab is. To me country rap is generally corny as fuck. It doesn't feel genuine. You cant compare a Yelawolf to a Haystack. Theres a good reason Shady signed him. Anyone who has been through the catalogue can see the vision and growth. Calling it country rap is simplifying his vision.

Yela is country rap done right. IMO. He's absolutely a dope rapper and really grew passed being mediocre when he embraced the country rap thing. Honestly I hate most country music in general so for him to win me over has some merit to it. I honestly wonder if Boondox would be in the same area if he wasn't a juggalo rapper because IMO Boondox has flexed just as much talent as Yela only falling behind as a lyricist.

However, I am interested in finding out why Royce called him a racist and said he does things behind closed doors that are evil. I don't think Royce is one to throw around accusations like that and he definitely doesn't seem like the type to just start beefs out of nowhere like this.

He signed him so early on, I think Em helped solidify & lend credibility to him.. Yela definitely worked hard to build his fanbase but Em got lucky yela is as big as he is.. most of the rappers Em has signed havent been that successful.. really only 50 & Yela are.. griselda are still too new to call..  

Slaughterhouse is dope. They didn't blow up mostly because Shady didn't know how to handle their group. They were never meant to be pop though and of course they wouldn't grow to be pop hits like 50 and Yela even though Shady tried to do that. That's why I'm scared of seeing how Griselda gets handled on Shady. Their rawness is what makes them great and I don't want to see that compromised.

ftr, if I were to break it down I'm sure I listen to more white rappers than black rappers.. & probably 4 times as much white rappers than mexican/hispanic rappers.. If I hear an Australian accent, I'm like "yo that's fire".. southern rappers in general do have a steeper hill to climb with me tho.. cause I aint from the south or the country so I dont consider any of that shit to be cool.. & theyve had a rep for making club music more than producing straight lyricist..

The closest thing to eminem's vivid/goofy/juvenile style is ICP.. Eminem is essentially a lyricist version of ICP, Em's so goofy when he interacts with people that he comes across as corny a lot.. your hate for EM seems much more deep seeded than simply not liking his music..  twiztid has been doing some questionable shit lately, so your disdain for them is understandable... but the ICP vs Em beef is SO old.. by 2004 neither one were taking shots at each other anymore.. it was really by 2003, excluding "Repentance"..
