Growing up, I was never into house, techno, jungle, or anything like that. I was never into industrial or instrumental hip hop either, which are generally comparable to electronic music.
I did enjoy trip hop but only when it featured vocals. Tricky and portishead all day.
Now EDM is huge and I feel like I'm missing major dopeness but I don't know where to find it.
Recently one of my favorite bands (ho99o9) collaborated with the prodigy and that song was pretty wild.
So basically who has the hot edm stuff that's got tons of energy and anger, experimentation, lots of vocals, leftist politics, distortion, and/or psychedelic atmospheres?

Dear Noah,
You would know better than most, that there is no way I could participate in your thread without it getting "infected"...
But here's a little something that you (and others) might find a few hours worth of musical enjoyment from searching the net.
I've posted this in the Forum a couple of times in the past (and its creator has since made more recent versions you could get as apps on your phone) but I think "the comedy" aspect of his notations went to his head.... but, whatever.
If anything, it's a generous attempt at showing the inter-connectivity of all musical genres, as driven by the advent and uprise of electronic music.

ps
I've been playing a lot of RDR2 and this post would be funnier if it were written in cursive.
