One of my biggest pet peeves in horrorcore is dudes sound like they're afraid someone will hear them rapping. If you record at home and you don't wanna bother other people, find a way to record when no one is home. get loud. scream and shit. stand up.

It's not just about volumes, it's about energy.

as for the over saturation, i get it hahaha, sometimes i feel like i wanna put up a song every other day. but if you got a soundcloud upload as much as you want/can just dont post it here. post a track occasionally but your real fans (people who follow you there) will get it so its sort of targetted.

@robtidwell  Hell yes man I feel you haha I literally struggle if someone is home. I can tell when I listen to shit i've recorded when someones home and I can totally hear myself trying not to be heard by the rest of the house and it totally kills all of the passion in that shit. I recently renovated my closet into a rap booth. Foam on the wall,  condenser mic and studio headphones etc. But being that its my closet and it doesn't have a door I feel exposed. A studio would be amaaaazing but right now I gotta work up the confidence to spit my shit no matter who's listening. Even if its my uber Christian mother haha

You'll get there. The second song I heard was already a lot better. I been around the horrorcore world for a while and you're already topping off above some cats I've heard back in the horrorcore.com days. 

Keep pushing. Keep spittin. Study the people you look up to. I started taking notes on ICP and it taught me a lot about the art I make. Stuff I didn't even realize they were doing until I really thought about it. 

Also, theres a show I like to watch from MTV. A lot of the episodes are stupid and not worth your time but whenever they talk to people who wanna do something artistic, it's usually really interesting (IMO). theres a few where they're trying to be rappers. It might feel like the people who are doing it, since they're high school kids who don't even know where to start, are sort of a step behind you but check it out and listen to the advice their coaches give.

You definitely have talent, man. Spittin/choppin for four minutes straight is some real shit. Much more than what I expected. If you have to be quiet right now, no matter how much production skill you get/no matter what quality your studio, it's going to come out sounding like you have to be quiet. Nothing is going to change that one. I would definitely focus on a workaround.
