TheFvckinKreeper brought up Q Strange and I've been listening to creation to exeqtion and it got me wondering who else used to be around that we never really hear about anymore? Who did we used to think would be the next big dope artist but who fell the fuck off?

My number one vote is Chamber.

his album soliloquy was really good. He kinda sounds like Jamie Madrox. He was a little closer to emotional alt hip hop than horrorcore but he did a lot of horror shit too.

So yeah, who do you remember from back the in the day that ain't around. Remind me of shit. Take me down memory lane.

I used to run killmusick with Kapitol G. We haven't been homies for a minute but I've heard through the grape vine that he's still kicking around on the internet and even dropped an album a few years ago possibly.

Didn't simken heights have a song about a school shooting?

I was never that into them but I liked the song I'm thinking about. It was on a compilation, I think. or mp3.com maybe?

I haven't really listened to a lot of that new KGP, but Hellusinations and The Ungod are classics.

Simken Heights have a bandcamp with their whole discography on there.. not sure about the song you're talking about though

I'll have to give it a listen. If you liked Hellusinations and tha Ungod you should check out necrology, easily the best KGP album, back when Curt D / Madness was in the group.

Is Shy One still around? That's a name I hadn't heard in a long time. Another one was Preacher X, he was this black metal infused horror rapper with a really thick accent. And also really, really bad.

Wasn't familiar with preacher x.

Shy one sounds familiar but i didn't think i liked him. I don't remember why. It's just a vague memory.

Oh. Yeah. That's why.

He was rolling with J.Hexx Project last time I heard of him.  J.Hexx is a sick producer, so it would be a good album if it happens through that label.

I'm friends with J.Hexx on facebook and have talked to him a decent amount.  He's still actively making beats and he put an album out last year.  His profile is under his actual name Elijah Rentas

Boo Clan.  They consisted of Boo Radley and Polta-G.  There were pretty strongly considered by Psychopathic at one point.  The thing is that Polta-G is a much better rapper than Radley, and he's the less prominent member on every song.  This is one of their better ones even though it's a pretty amateurish recording:

But then they have stuff like this where it's so ICP looking that you could mistake that for ICP if you squint your eyes.  And again, good sound to the song, but Radley is clearly the inferior rapper (he's the one with the funny hair).

Shy One was dope. He had an Early Three Six/ Bone Thugs style way before it became the super trend it is today.

Anyone remember these gems from early 2000 horrorcore.com era?

LU Cipha was dope. I think HEX still makes music. R.I.P. Sianide.

Q-Strange was dope. Scumbag Superstar was the last thing I heard from him. The funniest was him dissing a dude in a verse that paid for that verse.
