I may not like everything he makes, different styles, different preferences…. but his “musical journey”, his exploration of his style, means more to me than whether a particular song is appealing to me.  

This one is not one that I like but I’m really picky. These particular lyrics just don’t speak to me.  I tend to like more of the “wacky” than the stuff like this. But I have been in moods where this kind of song would have been appealing to me.   

I appreciate that because honestly 99% of anything I do starts with me just experimenting with new ideas and sounds. 

I don’t go into the writing process thinking of what other people want to hear and making songs specifically targeting those people.

Many artists do that but I’d rather not have to force myself to write my material. 

I make songs that interest me and reflect my life and state of mind at any given time.

At this time in my life I had alot of anger and negative energy and thoughts I needed to throw away and so I did.

Each one I make has a specific idea, topic and emotion that I am trying to convey at that moment.

Some will hate them. Some will love them. But, in the end. The music I create is my therapy. It’s a reflection of me. Noone else. 

I share it with the hope someone having similar feelings may find it and appreciate it for what it is. Nothing more.
