Man, can anyone in Michigan post the court case info in which J Rome's murderer was tried and sentenced.
For some strange reason the pdf document will not open for me in the country of Colombia.
On April 27, 1995, grand jurors from Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties indicted defendant on charges of open murder and felony-firearm. The charges stem from the Ingham County murder of Jerome Carson. On the strength of the indictment, a Clinton Circuit Court judge issued a warrant for defendant's arrest.

Yes, I knew about the appeals court case document so thanks for confirming the link I attached. I hope someone in Michigan can contact the court house and see how to get the trial documents released.
I need to get more info about the trial so I can ask peeps who rolled with the Simken any questions to help more with writing the Simken Heights story. I am curious if Markey Lamont is still in the pen or got an early release.
J Rome was shot numerous times in the chest so thats flat out murder!
Michigan court house system dont play when it comes to murder.
Markey Lamont was tried in 1995 and requested an appeal in 1997.
Ok, I know there must be some Michigan Juggalos who can get more info on the trial and sentencing since I can only do so much from the country of Colombia where I presently live even though I was raised in Lansing Michigan.
