The fun part is that I have no idea. The reason I’m shooting for November is because I’m gonna figure out all the ins and outs first. I think you probably can, but I’m gonna test all that shit out with my friends behind the scenes first. If that’s how you want to do it then I will find a way, cause I’d definitely want to have you on as often as possible!

Scruffy, your answer was vague but if the issues are something that can be worked around then we’ll figure it out. Definitely want you on too if possible. Duh.

Fair enough. The way Tales From The Lotus Podcast does it is with Google Hangouts to get everyone together and then streamed live to YouTube. They then leave the whole stream up on YouTube, but I thiiiiiiiink (not sure) I’m gonna trim the fat (if any) off of each episode and then upload it as a podcast episode. Kind of like how Jimmy Fallon and shit will live tape their show in front of a live audience and then edit it for broadcast. That’s something I’ll figure out when we get closer to launch. But the advantage of that is that if someone says something they wish they didn’t, then they can just be like, “edit that out,” and only the people watching live will have heard it.

Whatever the hot Juggalo topic of the week is (if any). Like this week, Juggalo internet is going fucking bananas over Twiztid and Blaze doing Lotus and Rydas at Attack Of The Ninjas. So if this were up and running right now, that would be the lead story. And I alone could probably do 20 minutes on that, so that’s a pretty hearty vein of conversation for a whole group. And then just whatever odds and ends are worth discussing. Psychopathic shit, MNE shit, Strange shit, Hopsin shit, KMK shit, Rittz, Yelawolf, Three 6, whatever the fuck. There’s always something going on with someone to talk about. I’m kinda sorta addicted to Twitter right now so I see a lot of things and know what people are talking about.

“whatever else” would be anything else worth a fuck that people are talking about. Like movies and tv and shit. Good question though, because I do want to say that I’d like to keep the time on those topics extremely limited. It kinda annoys me when I watch a Juggalo YouTuber and he talks about Deadpool 2 for 20 minutes, or whatever. But you know, 2 or 3 minutes on “Yeah I just saw such-and-such movie and it was cool/sucked” is alright.

“Are some topics off limits?” Eh not really, but one thing I definitely want to get away from is talking about the other YouTubers. Too much of Chuck Reeves’s show is talking about things CPN said, and too much of CPN’s show is talking about things Chuck Reeves said, etc. It’s not just them; everyone does it. I wouldn’t say it’s off limits, but it’s not something I’m super interested in hearing/talking about.

“Are you looking for a full show commitment or just a small segment of the full show?” Either way. I think I’ll do an hour a week, but if a guest/co-host (you guys. not sure what the word is!) want to just do 20 minutes and then dip out for a month that’s cool, or if you want to do the full hour every week then that’s cool too. I’ll just keep going until the end of the hour or until everyone leaves, whichever comes first.

This brings up another good point which is that as the host, I see it as MY job to fill dead air/keep the conversation moving/keep the show interesting/yada yada yada. If an episode sucks then that’s on me, not any of you. Y’all don’t know this but I’ve actually been practicing for about 3 years now. My friends and I did a podcast that I put together just as a testing grounds and I actually got pretty good at hosting, if I may say so. It’s definitely a skill that needs crafting and I have put in a decent amount of time at it, so there’s not as much pressure as you might think. If you suck as a guest and freeze up on the air, then I’ll just take the reigns and yammer until we get back on track. I’m good at that.

Thanks for the interest! Y’all are the first group that I’ve reached out to as potential panel members (that’s the best word I can think of), but I am definitely going to rustle up some more on Twitter. There’s a lot of intelligent Twitter Juggalos out there and I know some of them would be down. DCFaygoGuy has already told me he’d do it. The dudes from Tales From The Lotus Podcast would do it. Chuck Reeves would do it (and God help me, I’d probably let him a few times, haha). CPN would probably do it. To be honest, I think Bukshot and ABK would do it. I have good relationships with them. I have a good relationship with Kitty Kush (former Wolfpac girl, current artist/YouTuber), I think she’d do it. So I’ve got a lot of ideas floating around that could really pop off. Should be good!
