The relaunch was almost ten years ago and I think FLH just slowly became a thing of the past once Psy and others collapsed.

Scottie seems to focus on putting shit on facebook now and treating the main site as an afterthought.

There’s coverage of Juggalo Weekend there but not on FLH.

I’m sure he sees the decent view counts on FB and that gives him enough validation for the effort he puts in.

And lets face it, on a broader level in 2020 there isn’t as much of a need for a ninja like Scottie D when 90 percent of Juggalos at events have a phone with an HD camera in their pocket.

There are at least 4 different versions of the complete Friday/Saturday ICP sets from Juggalo Weekend LA up on youtube already.

Scottie’s is there but another ninja uploaded it by stealing Scottie’s facebook video and putting on his own channel, not FLH’s channel.

That’s why Scottie recently bitched about ninja’s stealing his facebook videos to make 27 cents on youtube.

This is a passion project for Scottie. He has already done way more than necessary in my book. I wouldn’t be mad if this place was shut down. I’ve had a lot of fucking fun reading the forum over the years.

Miklo is right with social media these days information is put out the very second it’s released

when this site first came out there was no facebook or twitter

I come here just for the forum now, Scottie posts news on the main page days sometimes weeks after I already read it on facebook,twitter or even on these forums

The front page articles are written by volunteers that have contacted Scottie and asked.

If the articles they submit are good and informative, he eventually gives them permission to write articles to the main page without having to go through him.

If you want to try your hand at being a citizen journalist, for a resume builder or just for fun, submit articles to @scottied .

People who frequent shows, like to write reviews, like to do interviews, etc. are exactly the people needed. The more people we have who can do this, the easier it will be to keep up-to-date and relevant information filling the front page.
